South Finals: Top Forwards/Bigs Prospects

The South Finals was loaded with talented guards from top to bottom, and the depth in the backcourt definitely showed all weekend. But while the guards grabbed a lot of the attention, there were also some forwards that really shined with their toughness, versatility, and impact on winning. Whether attacking downhill, cleaning up the glass, or making plays on both ends, these guys consistently showed up and embraced their roles. These forwards caught my eye and proved their worth all weekend with the way they competed and helped their teams win.    One thing's for sure—Bo can HOOP! He makes the game look effortless and stays in complete control whenever he's on the court. Barber's versatile skill set lets him score from anywhere, and his strong frame helps him battle inside while still having the explosiveness to finish at the rim. At the South Finals, Bo proved he's the top forward prospect, and it's safe to say his opponents would agree.     Kerrington is a big-bodied forward that really understands the game and brings a calm, old-school approach every time he steps on the floor. He's not going to overwhelm you with elite athleticism, but instead uses his size, positioning, and angles to consistently create advantages inside and out. Jackson also showed the ability to run the floor well and beat defenders down court for easy lay-ins in transition. In a tight overtime loss, he stuffed the stat sheet and poured in over 20 points while impacting the game in multiple ways.     Ethan is a true big that definitely has his best basketball ahead of him. The bruising lefty seeks contact and uses his size well to create space and attack the glass. Playing off the pivot, Wilson loves to dip his shoulder and finish over defenders with soft touch around the paint. Far from just a space eater, he hustles all over the floor and competes hard every possession. Unfortunately, a nasty ankle injury cut his weekend short, but he's definitely a prospect to keep tracking as he continues to gain experience and improve his stamina, conditioning, and athleticism.     Kenneth is a promising stretch forward who influences the game in numerous ways. He rebounds efficiently within his area, communicates effectively on defense, and demonstrates the ability to help and recover in pick-and-roll situations. Offensively, he consistently fulfills his role and can confidently knock down the three-pointer when given time to find his rhythm.     Noah is a high-energy forward who gives his all every time he steps on the court. His hustle is contagious, often sparking rebounds, put-backs, and clutch plays. All weekend, he was the driving force behind his Texas Ballers squad. Pendleton delivered one of the top moments of the event when he nailed an offensive put-back at the buzzer to seal a close win. Noah is the kind of player any coach would be thrilled to have on their team.
