Each team wanted to be competitive to be able to reach the top of the tournament to participate in the championship games that concluded the event. His positioning around the court allowed him to secure rebounds in both ends of the floor. On offense, he always has a sense of where his teammates are at within the offensive flow and when he is looking to score, he takes smart shots when the opportunity presents itself. With the ball in his hands, he always has a sense of making the right play that benefits the team's point total. When going downhill, he finds ways to finish around the rim and find his teammates in the process. With the ball in his hands, he had a burst of speed and athleticism that was hard to stop in 1 on 1 situations for opposing defenders guarding him. I was really impressed on how he was able to react to counters as he regularly played off his pivot to shoot fadeaway jumpers from multiple spots on the floor. Alot of the times within the office of flow, it seems like he knows what he's about to do with his next move and does a good job of executing. When going downhill he likes to use his shoulders to create space between him and his defenders. Carrejo was able to protect the rim with his ability to rebound the basketball on both ends of the floor while giving his team second chance opportunities on the offensive end.
