Kyle Himes – WM Lakers 2028

Himes continues to impress with the overall feel and pace he plays with. The crafty guard is deceptively quick and capable of scoring from all three levels. Whether attacking downhill, pulling up in the mid-range, or knocking down shots from deep, Himes played with confidence and control throughout the morning session. His body control when elevating into jumpers really stood out, and he consistently made smart reads as a passer. Himes finished with 18 points in the opening game of the day while showing the ability to impact the game beyond scoring.

Zaccheus King – Alabama Muscle 2028

King brought toughness and physicality every possession. The compact guard, built like a running back, was highly active on both ends and consistently pressured the defense with his quick first step. Once he got downhill, defenders struggled to slow him down because of his strength and balance through contact. King has clearly improved as a finisher around the rim and played with excellent aggression attacking the basket. He also showed strong playmaking instincts, finishing with 20 points and 6 assists in a highly productive outing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2991070' first='Mekhy' last='Holmes'] – IBG Elite 2028

Holmes made his presence felt with his nonstop activity and scoring ability. The energetic forward attacked the basket aggressively while also creating offense with pull-up jumpers. He connected on a contested corner three and consistently found ways to make positive plays throughout the game. Holmes' motor stood out as much as anything, as he played every possession with energy and urgency.

[player_tooltip player_id='3597945' first='Damarion' last='Taylor'] – [program_tooltip program_id='2081641' first='Royalty' last='Hoops Etc']. 2028

Taylor delivered one of the biggest performances of the morning, exploding for 34 points in an overtime win. The slick ball handler displayed outstanding feel and composure while battling fellow standout Zaccheus King in a highly entertaining point guard matchup. Taylor mixed in outside shooting but did most of his damage by relentlessly attacking the paint and converting through contact. His ability to hunt his shot off pull-up jumpers while staying aggressive downhill made him extremely difficult to contain. Taylor was simply in attack mode from start to finish.

Gianni Gerosa – Ryze Athletics 2028

Gerosa used his long 6-foot-5 frame effectively throughout the morning session. The forward scored consistently with his back to the basket and utilized his length to finish over smaller defenders. He did an excellent job capitalizing on mismatches within offensive sets, especially when guards rotated onto him defensively. Gerosa also flashed some perimeter ability by stepping out and knocking down open shots when defenses sagged off him.

Mi'cah Eddings – [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] 16U National 2028

Eddings continues to make a strong impression with his versatility and physical tools. The strong, long shooting guard was highly effective operating from the mid-post, where he created space for turnaround jumpers and attacked downhill with force. He consistently got to the foul line and competed hard defensively throughout the game. For his size, Eddings moves exceptionally well on the wing and impacted multiple areas of the floor. He added value defensively with blocked shots and strong rebounding effort, finishing with 15 points and 8 rebounds in a loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2886530' first='Brysen' last='Morris'] – Royalty Hoops 2030

One of the more intriguing performances of the morning came from Morris, a highly touted eighth grader playing up multiple levels. The 6-foot-5 guard/forward showed impressive confidence and poise against older competition. Morris looked smooth handling the ball and carried that same fluidity into his jump shot. His ability to create offense while maintaining composure stood out for such a young prospect. Morris finished with 15 points in an overtime victory and continues to show why he is regarded as one of the top incoming freshmen to monitor closely.
