Playing with a team called HC Elite 17U - a squad put together by the event organizers to fill out the pools - Vialva simply got it done in their one game on Sunday. The Tualatin junior guard was strong with the ball, especially with his patented mid-ranger J, hitting the game winning bucket on a putback in OT but prior to that he was simply dominating in all phases of the game, posting 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals.

Suiting up for both HC Elite 17U and Oregon Prospects 17U on Sunday was Olvera, who continued to impress us in every game we've seen of his this spring. The Tualatin junior forward did it again first posting an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double with HC Elite 17U, finishing tough buckets at the rim while also showing good range on his J. He's proven himself as a tough defensive assignment as he's been able to score effectively down low while also showing the ability to face the hoop, knock down perimeter jumpers, and attack off the bounce.

A number of huge plays down the stretch by Lampert for Fly Select 17U in their final win of the day on Sunday. Two tough finishes for the West Linn junior wing in transition - one a traditional and-one - but he also came up big with two rejections on the defensive end as the squad captured a big rivalry win over [program_tooltip program_id='2248856' first='Players' last='Only'].

As usual, there was efficient play today for Fly Select 17U from Kittleson. The Portland Christian junior was steady throughout in a big win, taking what the defense gave him instead of forcing the issue, and he really stepped up in crunch time with both a traditional three-point play and another smooth jumper from deep - for a total of 11 points.

One of the top scorers in the 17U division at 18.0 points per game, Frank played high-percentage basketball with much of his scoring coming in transition. The Valley Catholic junior utilized his speed to get up and down the floor and his athleticism to finish at the rim. He dropped a team-high 16 points in the loss to Fly Select.
