More Oklahoma Recruiting Buzz — Who's Gaining Momentum?

With so much happening this time of year in the world of recruiting, we wanted to follow up with some more news. The following players have been gaining a lot of buzz with recent offers and next level commitments. Let's take a look at some more prospects and how their recruitment has either closed or changed in the past few days.    Gavin has committed to Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. The 6'4" shooting guard from Mustang will look to make a name for himself immediately with his ability to both put the ball on the deck and post up smaller defenders inside. His ability to score in a multitude of ways combined with solid length and strength makes him an intriguing prospect that could continue to grow exponentially over the next couple of seasons. Milligan has a quick release and can really shoot the ball from deep as well.     On Tuesday, Mason picked up an offer from Northwest Missouri State. The Division II power obviously has really liked what they have seen from the long, rangy point guard recently. Mason can impact games in many different ways. his ability to score from all three levels makes him a tough cover on offense. Not only can he get to his spots with solid ball handling, but he has also added a dimension to his game with his ability to finish through defenders and embrace contact. He has tremendous positional size and can defend a multitude of positions thanks to his athleticism and length.     Matulis has been committed to Hutchinson Community College. However, he most recently picked up an offer from Drake on Thursday. The 6'5" shooter showed an all-around game this past season with his ability to shoot on the move, combined with some sneaky athleticism around the rim. He excelled this year as a cutter away from the ball and continues to grow with his ability to read how defenders are playing him on the perimeter.     Another Newcastle standout has started to garner some more interest recently. Folsom now holds an off from Cameron University. The 5'11" point guard has started his prep circuit play with some strong performances for [program_tooltip program_id='2075767' first='Oklahoma' last='Chaos Elite']. Joey has dominated both offensively and defensively, producing some solid stats last weekend in Kansas City (8.0 points, 7.0 steals, and 4.0 assists per game). More importantly, his leadership has helped lead his squad to a perfect 16-0 record on the NXTPRO Circuit.     Brammer committed to Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa at the end of April. The 6'2" guard from Newcastle joins his teammate Ivan Antwi-Donkor, who is also heading to the Mavericks. The 2026 Big All-City First Team guard will look to make an immediate impact. His ability to score the ball, really gave Newcastle a boost in their state run this year. Look for him to continue to build on his clutch shot-making at the next level.     Lehman recently committed to Link Academy after receiving offers from both Hesston College and Mission University. The 6'4" guard had an outstanding senior season, in which he showcased his shooting, ball handling and playmaking on the offensive side of the floor. Lehman has a smooth release from outside the arc and will look to continue to build on that element of his game. Like Academy will give Avery the resources and coaching to take major strides at the prep level.
