The wing talent at Mayhem in the Plex 17U brought a strong combination of athleticism, shot creation, and defensive versatility throughout the event. Several prospects separated themselves with their ability to score at multiple levels while also impacting the game physically on the defensive end. The weekend featured wings who thrived in transition, created advantages attacking closeouts, and showed comfort operating both on and off the ball. Length, pace, and positional versatility were consistent themes among the top performers. Here's a closer look at five wings who made a major impression during the event.

Williams consistently produced offense at all three levels and looked comfortable creating in a variety of situations throughout the weekend. He attacked downhill with force in transition, finished through contact, and showed touch around the rim when rotating defenders arrived late. In the half court, he created separation effectively off one- and two-dribble pull-ups while also knocking down catch-and-shoot perimeter looks. Defensively, Williams used his athleticism well closing space and contesting on the perimeter. His combination of fluid scoring ability and physical tools made him one of the more difficult matchups in attendance.

✅ Athletic three-level scoring
✅ Transition finishing ability
✅ Shot creation off the bounce

Robinson showed one of the highest long-term ceilings among the wings at the event because of his blend of athleticism, scoring instincts, and developing offensive versatility. He consistently generated quality looks from the perimeter while also attacking gaps aggressively when defenders overplayed his jumper. Robinson flashed body control finishing through contact and showed encouraging creation upside in secondary ball-handler situations. His physical tools also translated defensively, where he covered ground quickly and disrupted passing lanes with active rotations. The upside as a multi-level scorer with positional versatility was evident throughout the weekend.

✅ Athletic perimeter scoring
✅ High-upside offensive versatility
✅ Defensive range and activity

McCain played with physicality on both ends and consistently created advantages by attacking defenders downhill with strength. He absorbed contact well at the rim and showed the ability to finish through traffic while maintaining balance. His perimeter shot-making added another layer to his offensive package, particularly when defenders sagged to contain drives. McCain also competed hard defensively and used his frame effectively when switching onto multiple positions. His blend of toughness and three-level scoring production stood out all event long.

✅ Physical downhill scoring
✅ Three-level offensive production
✅ Multi-positional defensive strength

Mukendi made his biggest impact defensively with his athleticism, energy, and ability to cover ground on the perimeter. He consistently disrupted actions at the point of attack and rotated quickly to contest shots from the weak side. In transition, his speed and length allowed him to pressure the ball and generate momentum-changing defensive possessions. Offensively, he played within structure, cut effectively off the ball, and capitalized on open-floor opportunities. His defensive versatility and motor gave his team a reliable two-way presence throughout the weekend.

✅ Athletic perimeter defense
✅ Weak-side rotational activity
✅ Open-floor transition impact

Stephens brought a versatile offensive skill set that translated well in both transition and half-court settings throughout the event. He showed confidence scoring from beyond the arc, attacking closeouts, and creating space for pull-up jumpers in the midrange. His athleticism allowed him to finish above traffic at times while also giving him defensive flexibility across multiple wing assignments. Stephens consistently played with good pace and made strong reads when defenses collapsed into the paint. His scoring versatility and physical tools made him one of the more complete wing performers in attendance.

✅ Versatile three-level scoring
✅ Athletic finishing ability
✅ Positional defensive versatility
