TABC Showcase: Hustle and Effort Glue Guys

This article will be a continuation of my coverage during the annual TABC tournament in Dallas across multiple venues. No team would be complete without their various hustle and glue guys who give 110% effort every play. Here is a list of players who captured my attention with impressive skill sets and intense hustle and passion for the game.    [player_tooltip player_id='2539697' first='Landon' last='Collins'] was one of the more interesting players I watched at TABC last weekend due to his ability to impact the game from both the interior and the perimeter. He possesses a long wingspan and impressive height, allowing him to block shots at the rim and secure rebounds as well. His presence was huge for Weiss in a win over Grand Prairie that featured some big time post players of their own. Collins had some thunderous dunks on offense in transition that gave his team the momentum and showed effectiveness off the pick and roll as well.     [player_tooltip player_id='2404481' first='Felix' last='Okam'] is a unique prospect who showcased ballhandling like a guard and a clean jump shot form in Grand Prairie's Friday game against Weiss. This was my second time getting to watch Felix and he is a 2029 prospect who is nationally ranked in ESPN for good reason due to his Swiss knife skillset. He can hit perimeter jumpers over closing out defenders, help handle the ball against full court defense, and swat opposing players shooting in the paint. Having an effective summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2542538' first='Houston' last='Hoops EYBL'], Felix looks to continue his momentum-changing play as we near the end of the summer coming up soon.     [player_tooltip player_id='2813633' first='Finn' last='Riddle'] was the man of the hour for [player_tooltip player_id='2854586' first='Austin' last=''] Bowie on Saturday morning against the Leona Leopards. Riddle made many deep threes when left open by defenders and his quickness getting to the rim was unmatched. He threw exquisite dimes to open teammates for good looks at the rim and on the arc. Riddle is a blur in transition and is always one of the first ones down the court on fastbreaks looking to capitalize. I like Finn's aggressiveness to attack the defense from all angles and look to take advantage of mismatches at all positions.     Ellis was probably the best shooter I was personally able to watch during TABC, and he shows a composed form under pressure even from the best perimeter defense. He can run either guard slot effectively as a dual threat playmaker and scorer and can get downhill past multiple defenders. He plays the role of a glue guy very well for Walnut Grove and he is an aggressive perimeter defender who will make opposing point guards feel uncomfortable and turn the ball over. He crashes the rebounds well on both ends for a guard and makes impactful hustle plays.     [player_tooltip player_id='2443364' first='Shawn' last='Hall'] is a no-nonsense hustle player at the shooting guard slot who impacts games with effort and defense. He competes hard on both ends and gives 100% energy every time he is on the floor. Hall got to the basket with a speedy first step and finished efficiently under the rim with smooth layups and a soft touch. Hall plays passing lanes well on defense and takes advantage of lazy offensive passes, turning them into easy points for his team. He always possesses high level court awareness and knows where his teammates are to pass them the ball clean and crisply.
