Impact Players Set for a Strong Summer

Many student athletes don't rest when the school year ends and the handful below are no exception to that. They put in the work consistently and are always trying to improve their game.    Rico is a long, athletic forward/center with great hands and nice IQ on both ends of the floor. He's incredibly active on defense - consistently knocking balls loose and interrupting passing lanes with his impressive wingspan. He always stays ready in the paint and often gets there before his opponents leaving him wide open for easy scores due to his speed and nice ability to move without the ball. He's a beast on the offensive glass, using his length regularly to snag rebounds over shorter defenders for second and third chance opportunities. He has a pretty touch on his attempts in the lane, which sends his shooting percentage soaring game after game.     Airen is an explosive wing that makes an impact on both ends and has a terrific finishing ability. Whether it's completing an alley-oop, dunking on his defender, or stacking rebounds - one of his specialties is making massive noise in the paint. He has some nice length, and he uses that on the defensive end to block and alter opposing shots with regularity. His speed is next level, and he has a solid ballhandling ability, which makes him extremely dangerous on the fast break. His post game jumps out at me as special as he backs down defender after defender with ease due to his strength, IQ, and beautiful touch in the lane.     Isaiah has a beautiful touch on his jumper, and his range extends nicely beyond the arc where he knows how to get to his spots. He's a patient guard that doesn't get flustered and works his way into the best opportunities available on each possession. He has a nice ballhandling ability that he pairs with solid footwork to dizzy his opponents into submission. His awareness is off the charts, and his hands are dangerous - consistently picking passes and causing havoc for his opponents. He has an impressive passing ability and elevates his teammates when kicking off the drive to provide them with easy, open attempts.     Jeremiah is a quick, smart point guard with great anticipation defensively and a solid ability to finish on the break. He's incredibly skilled at distributing off the drive and setting his teammates up with great looks at the basket. He has a pretty shot and has no problems knocking jumpers down from range. He likes to use his speed to push the ball up the court on the outskirts and cut his way in toward the rim with a rapid crossover and elite ballhandling. He's constantly deflecting passes and stacking up steals for extra possessions - almost as if he knows what's coming next from his opponents.     Ethan has a great IQ for being so young and he leads the charge down the floor for his team impressively well. He has a great handle and is not easily stressed by tight coverage or trapping defenders. He's an excellent passer with the ability to consistently set up his teammates with high quality looks at the rim. He's a physical guard - never afraid of contact or getting in the mix for a rogue loose ball. His motor is non-stop on both ends, and he never seems to get overly fatigued - the effort and hustle are always there on every play. He's a nice shooter with a jumper that's only going to get better and better as he continues to put in the work.
