Maciejewski had it going from deep for [program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'] Gold in a win over [program_tooltip program_id='2502936' first='UTC' last='Fire']-1 on Saturday morning. The 6-foot-2 snipper made five three-point baskets and scored 19 points in a competitive 77-69 victory. Competing with good size and working hard to find openings against the defense, Maciejewski was a quick catch-and-shoot performer for his team and he found the bottom of the net more often than not from deep. Although he had a tough time finding his footing in limited varsity play at Germantown as a junior, Maciejewski has the look of a player who will contend for a starting role with the Warhawks.

An exceptionally quick and aggressive lead guard, Pace helped CBA Gold to a victory Saturday morning by pushing the ball, getting into the lane to finish with floaters over taller defenders, and with his marksmanship from beyond the three-point arc. Pace finished the contest against [program_tooltip program_id='2502936' first='UTC' last='Fire']-1 with 17 points as he buried three triples and got the line after drawing fouls with his speed and quickness. The backcourt situation at Wauwatosa East is exceptionally strong next season with Pace, [player_tooltip player_id='1900422' first='Donovan' last='Calloway'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140973' first='Parker' last='Mitchell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2404032' first='Jack' last='Clark'] all back from a team that went 13-13.

Known throughout his high school career at Columbus Catholic as a terrific shooter, Weiland took that positive attribute to New Berlin this weekend and made shot after shot from deep for [program_tooltip program_id='2502936' first='UTC' last='Fire']-1 in a narrow loss to [program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'] Gold. Weiland had a game-best 21 points in the contest on the strength of five three-point baskets. The steady and quick backcourt performer also showed the ability to use a ball fake to get around defenders on the perimeter and then score in the lane. Weiland is a key returning player for a very good Columbus Catholic program coming off an Eastern Cloverbelt Conference championship season.

There goes that guy again. Each time [program_tooltip program_id='2502936' first='UTC' last='Fire']-2 made a strong push at The New Threat out of the Quad Cities, Massey would take matters into his own hands. The shifty, aggressive combination guard from United Township in Illinois put up 21 points for his team in a 62-58 victory, making one clutch play after another. Massey seemed to be most confident using his quick first step and length to take defenders off the dribble and score at the rim. But he also flashed the ability to put points on the board from deep and from the foul line. A solid defender as well, Massey's strong play was the different in the contest for The New Threat.

Of all the players I watched over the weekend at the Crean City Collision, Eades might have been the most impressive as far as being a pure shooter from deep. The Rhinelander combination guard had just two points at halftime for [program_tooltip program_id='2502936' first='UTC' last='Fire']-2 in its matchup with The New Threat. But he went off for five consecutive three-point baskets in the second half, making one after another off the bounce and off the catch. He finished the contest with 17 points and hit the bottom of the net from deep in extremely impressive fashion despite defenders doing everything they could to prevent his launches from the perimeter.
