Another spring weekend is in the books. However, this wasn't just another normal weekend. The Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam is one of a couple annual can't miss events. Routinely bringing together all of the top Midwest teams across all shoe circuits, this is the best evaluation event of the spring without a doubt. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip-off until the final buzzer. Let's dive on in and highlight some additional names that emerged from the weekend in Fort Wayne at the Run N Slam.

This under-the-radar guard from Decatur Central High School has gone from helping lead the Hawks to a Class 4A South Semi-State appearance straight into a strong spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2337502' first='Indiana' last='Jammers UA Rise'] 17u. Baker scored 19 or more points in four of six games at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam including two 25 point performances. He is an athletic driver, skilled finisher, and good all-around playmaker.

College programs still in search for an athletic 6'6" wing in the Class of 2026 should look no further than Ethan Hillsman from Fishers High School. He is one of the top unsigned seniors in the state at this point and is absolutely a scholarship-worthy, potential Division I prospect. Playing with Progeny UAA 17u he displayed his ability to attack the rim off of the dribble, was excellent in transition, and rebounded well from the wing.

One of Indiana's top Class of 2028 prospects that hasn't gotten statewide attention yet, Jankowski is playing at a very high level this spring with Breakaway 3SSB 16u out of Illinois. Getting the chance to play on one of the best circuits in the country will be big for his development. The 6'0" guard poured in six three-point shots on Sunday and scored 21 points in a win for Breakaway over Ohio Buckets EYCL 16u. Jankowski can really shoot it and is one to follow closely out of Valparaiso High School in the current sophomore class.

One of the most talented freshman guards in the state of Indiana, Meux had a strong showing for [program_tooltip program_id='2399422' first='Darius' last='Garland Elite'] P32 15u at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. He shot the ball well from three-point range and used some of his physical strength to play through contact on his way to the basket and rebound from the guard spot as well. Meux has an impressive combination fo strength and skill on the perimeter. The 6'1" true combo guard helped lead East Chicago Central to a Class 3A North Semi-State during his freshman season.

We got our first look at Norey when attending Merrillville High School open gym back in the fall prior to the season. He immediately caught our attention in that setting and did so once again at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam playing with Darius Garland P32 16u. The 6'6" forward runs the floor so well and has a ton of upside on the roll and on the rim run. He rebounds at a high level and flashes some defensive upside as well. Norey is one to watch in Merrillville's current sophomore class.

Weaver doubled up at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam playing up two age groups with Multiplier Basketball 17u as well as playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2337502' first='Indiana' last='Jammers UA Rise'] 15u when timing allowed. The talented 6'1" guard continues to prove himself as a skilled scorer in Indiana's Class of 2029. He had plenty of success putting the ball in the basket with both teams and has had a very good spring overall. We look forward to continuing to watch more of Weaver heading into the summer months.
