The Muskogee standout did not disappoint over the weekend. July is a tremendous leaper who thrives when he can get our and run on the fastbreak. He provides his team with a lot of energy and his teammates seek him out ahead of the defense. His long range shooting was also on display, as he was able utilize his quick release to knock down shots from all over the court against both Team Oklahoma and 1 Nation. The freshman was very disruptive on the defensive end and used a combination of anticipation to go along with his long wingspan to create steals. He always has his head up and on many occasions his teammates benefitted from his outstanding play on the defensive end.

Schma can do a little bit of everything for his team. The strength of Hard Hoops Gold is how together they play, with no agenda as to who gets the credit or leads in scoring. This group sacrifices and was able to go undefeated because of it. Schma is the perfect example of who they want to be as a team. The Wylie East (Texas) guard did a fantastic job of jumping passing lanes on the defensive end. He also showed good lateral quickness and the ability to make second efforts on that end of the floor. Preston handles the ball well and can lead the break, taking care of the rock both against full court pressure and in fastbreak settings. Schma finished well at the rim and also showcased a smooth 3-point shot. Look for the freshman to have a major impact over the next few months for his squad.

Henderson is a do-it-all wing that can impact games in a variety of ways. He is most impressive on the defensive side, where he can guard all five positions. His long wingspan allows him to apply pressure in both full court press and half court defensive settings for MOGP. On the offensive end, he is a very good finisher at the rim. When he can consistently be a threat from outside, his ability to attack closeouts will continue to show up. He has a solid stroke from the foul line that was seen all weekend long thanks to his aggressive play in drawing fouls by getting into the paint.

Yohannan was perhaps the best ball handler in the 15U division. He lived in the paint for Team Oklahoma, playing under control and finishing with either hand at the rim. Yohannan knows when to push pace and when to pull the ball out as he routinely knew when the defense was set and numbers were not in his favor. With his paint touches through the roof on Saturday, he was able to get to the free throw line on a number of occasions. The lefty has a smooth release and converts at a high clip. Defensively, he also plays under control but uses anticipation to play passing lanes and see one pass ahead a lot of the time. His active hands and good length are both something that he can continue to build on moving forward.

Benson showed off a sweet step back move to his right, in which he was able to elevate and get his jump shot going early in games with on Saturday. At 6'4", he is able to use solid athleticism paired with length to do a number of things well for his C4 Attack team. Benson was able to knock down a few 3-pointers but is at his best as a slasher and can finish above the rim. Against zone looks, his team utilized him in the high post and he was able to create for both himself and others at a high rate. Kyng is able to see the floor well on the offensive end while also showing a strong rip through move when he is decisive on the catch.

The Plano West forward was asked to do a lot for his Hard Hoops Gold squad on both Friday and Saturday. Rylan is an elite athlete that uses his great leaping ability to both finish high above the rim and to block shots. McCann was able to battle much taller players inside and more than held his own thinks to effort and staying vertical to contest in the paint. His quickness shows up on defensive rotations as he was able to impact C4 Attack's paint opportunities without getting in foul trouble. Offensively, he works hard to find space and lives in the "dunker spot" along the baseline where he thrives as a finisher and cutter for his team.

Fleming is an impressive young man. He shows great leadership and maturity both on and off the floor for Team Oklahoma. He is an outstanding passer from both the post and the perimeter. He is athletic enough to run the floor and showed flashes of creativity combined with toughness around the basket to finish off some tough opportunities. Fleming is a high effort player that is always hustling after loose balls and rebounds. Look for the freshman to have a big summer as the got-to option for his club.
