Schma can do a little bit of everything for his team. The strength of Hard Hoops Gold is how together they play, with no agenda as to who gets the credit or leads in scoring. This group sacrifices and was able to go undefeated because of it. Schma is the perfect example of who they want to be as a team. The Wylie East (Texas) guard did a fantastic job of jumping passing lanes on the defensive end. He also showed good lateral quickness and the ability to make second efforts on that end of the floor. Preston handles the ball well and can lead the break, taking care of the rock both against full court pressure and in fastbreak settings. Schma finished well at the rim and also showcased a smooth 3-point shot. Look for the freshman to have a major impact over the next few months for his squad.
