If you made an All Tournament team for the Rumble in the Rapids, all 5 starting players might come from [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy']. They simply wiped the floor with every team they faced over the 3-day event, and [player_tooltip player_id='3103572' first='Broden' last='Burgess'] was a major standout in their final game of the weekend.

Broden is so fast in transition; his team creates a turnover and before you can blink, he's at the opposite hoop converting a layup. In Sunday's blowout win over [program_tooltip program_id='2077010' first='Common' last='Bond'], Broden scored 24 points in a game that was stopped four minutes early. And to the best of his memory, only two of his baskets weren't fast-break points.

Broden plays on an elite team, but he's already turning into a crucial part of the lineup. He's an elite distributor and has slick handles. He loves showing off behind-the-back passes or acrobatic layups under the hoop. And he plays very smart when the ball is in his hands.

After the final game, Broden said that he wishes he could have made a few more 3-pointers over the weekend, but his two-point shots were doing plenty of good for [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy'].

One of the weekend's elite performers in the 16U field came from a kid who could still be playing against 15U competition; and he's a rising star in the national player rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2844038' first='Jace' last='Opoku-Agyeman'] entered the weekend ranked 27th in the nation, according to futureprospectsd1.com. And some list him as a top-3 recruit in Michigan for the 2029 recruiting class.

In his Storm team's win over WM Premier, Jace showed why he's catching a lot of nationwide buzz. He handles the ball well in transition; showcasing excellent court vision and an uncanny ability to find an open teammate. He's extremely explosive when he attacks the lane; just puts his head down and goes straight at his defender.

On defense he locks up the opposing team's guards, and battles for rebounds against players who are often 3-4 inches taller than him.

Jace is young, but you can tell that he already has the trust of his teammates; they let him take the ball up court, and rely on him to bring them through tricky game-situations.

After the game, Jace said that he doesn't mind playing against kids who are older than him, because he's been doing it most of his life. He prides himself on causing a lot of turnovers and being able to score past his defender.

Jace still has 3 years of high school remaining, and has lots of time to continue his rise up the national rankings.

As soon as Emani stepped on the floor, you could tell that he would be a problem for the opposing team's defense. And he spent all 32 minutes of his game on Sunday creating problems for the opposition.

Emani set the tone right off the opening tip for Pink Panther Elite. His size makes him a threat at all 5 positions: he regularly is bringing the ball up the court as a point guard... he has the size and bulk to play down low and pile up rebounds... and then he's got the shooting touch to pop out and nail a few 3-pointers.

There were no substitute players on the bench for Emani's team on Sunday, so he was forced to never take a break during this game; but that didn't seem to faze him. Late in the first half he grabbed a rebound, dribbled behind his back to split a double-team, and went coast-to-coast for an and-1 basket. And still late in the game, playing in a tight contest, he buried a 3-pointer to help seal the win.

Emani finished with 22 points, and might have had a double-double by halftime. He fights hard for rebounds and goes up strong in traffic.

This is a kid who can singlehandedly take over a game, and he'll be fun to watch on the AAU circuit in the coming tournaments.

In his final game of the tournament on Sunday morning, Zander proved why he's a point guard on the rise in the class of 2028.

Zander works incredibly well with the ball in his hands. He's patient on a fast break; waiting for the open shot to come to him. And he can beat his defender off the dribble. He's shifty in the open court; and even when he appears bottled up by a defender-he always manages to find his way out.

Zander scored 17 points in his final game of the weekend, utilizing a slick midrange jumper, and a quick release on his 3-pointer. But more than that, he's a great +/- kind of player: most of his team's scoring is done while he's on the floor.

His size belies the fact that he's also a pretty good rebounder, and he's able to get on the move quickly after grabbing a board.

This weekend was his first tournament with the [program_tooltip program_id='3509505' first='Dream' last='Loudly'] program, and he's a player looking to make some noise in the upcoming AAU circuit.

Gian plays on a phenomenal team at [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy'], so in some matchups it's easy for his scoring to get overshadowed. But even if it's not on the score sheet, Gian finds ways to make his presence felt.

He's a very frustrating defender to play against; he has a knack for getting in the head of his defender and forcing them to make a mistake.

And on offense, he's an extremely skilled 3-point shooter, and is an outstanding ball-handler, who can bury a devastating midrange jumper. He's very slippery getting to the hoop, and is one of several players in this lineup who is a nightmare to match up against if you're a defender.

Gian averaged over 22 points at [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy']'s last tournament, and his scoring was not quite as needed this weekend. But was still scoring in double figures every game, and making life difficult for opposing offenses.

Coby Bruce is a kid who won't always be leading his team in points, but has an ability to make his presence felt when he's on the floor.

At 6'5", he's already got great size for his position, and does well playing above the rim. He has great length that allows him to always be in on a play; whether it's a rebound on offense or a deflection on defense.

He's a really tough player in the lane, working hard for rebounds and putbacks. And defensively, he's quick to get on a fast break after grabbing a board. The kid is smooth in transition; sprinting down the floor to make a good pass to a teammate.

After a win over Team Magic, Coby said that he takes pride in his scoring ability and passing. And he's hoping to improve his speed to the rim.

A kid with impressive size, Cameron is a constant matchup-challenge, both on offense and defense.

Cameron prides himself on his defense and rebounding. He has a major nose for the ball when it's coming off the glass, and is a constant double-double threat.

As part of the Indiana Impact program, Reed is always going to stand out because he's normally sharing the floor with his twin brother, Law. Both are talented players, but during their final game of the weekend, Reed's performance especially drew some attention.

At 6'4", Reed has excellent footwork in the lane. He stays composed under heavy defensive pressure and fights through contact.

Reed's speed also stands out; he can chase down rebounds and go coast-to-coast for a layup; finishing with 10 points in his Sunday win.
