The athletic 6'8” Forward out of Gary, Indiana was impactful on both sides of the ball for Progeny 2029 UAA in their win on Friday night over [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u. Finished with a double-double, he showed is versatile game early and often on the offensive end. He uses his length and athleticism to his advantage with a quick first step that allows him to get all the way to the rim. He did struggle to finish on those drives, but love how he stayed aggressive. Knocked down his first three-point attempt and did settle, but shoots it with confidence. Difference maker on the glass finishing with double digit rebounds. He goes up with two hands and once he gets his hands on the ball, it's his. Big time paint presence on the defensive end that is switchable on the perimeter while being a rim protector that plays without fouling.

The confident lead guard plays with maturity beyond his years. He's a high IQ guard that does a good job balancing his own scoring with facilitating and getting his teammates open looks. Smooth stroke from the perimeter with deep range that demands respect, but has arguably a better middle game. Not the quickest or most athletic player, but does a good job using his body to his advantage to get to his spots on the floor and has the ability to rise up in the midrange. He plays with his eyes up and always on balance with the ability to make any pass on the floor. He's a hard nosed defender that competes on that end. He stays down in a stance and pressures opposing guards using his length and active hands as well as any guard I've seen the last couple weeks.

The 6'6” Wing/Forward out of Evansville Harrison playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u continued his outstanding play from last week while adding a new dimension to his game. Last week he was an offensive juggernaut that was absolutely relentless in getting to the rim and with his physicality, he is a tough cover for anyone. What stood out the most on Friday night is how competitive fire on the defensive end. He stepped up to the challenge and played with a high motor on both ends of the floor. Showcased his ever improving court vision while staying aggressive driving to the basket and seeking out contact. Wasn't able to connect from three, but the jump shot continues to improve ffrom midrange and out to the three-point line.

First AAU action of the spring Friday night for [player_tooltip player_id='3254540' first='Grayson' last='Dease'] and he got started in a big way. The offensive minded wing is a smooth operator with the ball in his hands. Doesn't force anything. Does a good job being patient and taking what the defense gives him. Was able to get free early for three 3's to get his confidence up. He's really good off the dribble when he's attacking the basket. He's a crafty finisher that knows how to take bumps and stay on balance. He's a natural scorer, but showcased intriguing court vision and good decision making when double teamed. A consistent motor was a question mark throughout the high school season, but when engaged, he's an impactful defender and rebounder that that can turn defensive stops into buckets on the other end in a hurry.

One of the better performances I saw on Friday night came from 6'5” Wing [player_tooltip player_id='2972974' first='Wyatt' last='Frazier'] of Progeny 2029 UAA. The strong bodied wing announced his presence with authority coming off the bench and knocking down shots and was just a jolt of energy for his team. He's a fundamentally sound wing that lets the game come to him. He's a good shooter off the catch, but also is a tough cover when he drives the ball. He uses his body really well and creates contact and is able to finish around the basket. Defensively he's, a switchable defender that crashes the glass hard. He does a good job moving his feet and pressuring on the defensive end making it tough on his opponent. He's a high motor that makes winning plays on both sides of the ball and is an unselfish teammate.

The physical forward had another impactful game coming off a good showing from last week's event. He's a wide bodied forward that plays with a high motor and impacts the game in the paint on both ends of the floor. Strong kid that once he gets control of the ball, it's his. He rebounds at a high level and does a good job running floor. On offense he's still a bit raw, but showed flashes of a nice soft touch over his left shoulder. He's a good pick and roll option that sets good screens and rolls hard to the basket. Continues to improve on his perimeter defense, but is best in the paint where he can block or alter shots at the rim and get his team out in transition.

The recent state champion out of Cathedral was the best player on the floor in Progeny 2029 UAA win over [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u. Lightning quick guard that doesn't get sped up and controls the game brilliantly. Was able to get to his spot anytime he wanted in the game. Struggled finishing at the rim early, but stayed aggressive. Hard nosed defender that has the ability to pressure the full length of the floor. Plays with strong base and active hands. Was able to knock down open 3's while also showing lead guard skills creating for others. He's a tempo pushing guard that thrives in transition and puts as much pressure on the rim as any 15u guard that I've seen.

As athletic and physically imposing wing as you're gonna find at the 16u level, [player_tooltip player_id='2539953' first='Jarrett' last='Harris'] is a highlight waiting to happen that is starting to put together production that matches his unreal potential. To go with his elite athleticism, he has a physical body and a quick first step and when he gets two feet in the paint he's looking to finish above the rim. He's a matchup nightmare on the perimeter when he's aggressive looking to get downhill. Showed he's capable of knocking down the 3 off the catch as well as being a big time rebounder on both ends. With his physical tools, he has the ability to be a lock down defender. Was engaged in the parts of the game that I saw on Friday, but it has a tendency of disappearing, but is improving each game.

My first time seeing the big 6'8” lefty live and came away as impressed with him as I was anyone that I saw on Friday night. He's a skilled defensive anchor that moves extremely well for his size and age. He showed the ability to switch in pick and roll situations and contain smaller guard, while also being a formidable paint presence altering shots at the rim. He tracks the ball off the rim really well and gets up and down the floor with fluidity. Offensively, he's a skilled big that can play inside and out with range on his jump shot that stretches to the three-point line even though he didn't take one. He has good feel around the rim. He makes quick, decisive moves and is able to finish with both hands with a soft touch. He sets good screens and rolls hard to the basket where he establishes strong post position. He showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and go make a play. Really nice feel out of the post and was a really good passer when double teams came. Plays really hard and impacts the game on both ends knowing how to use his size and length to his advantage.

The smooth left handed guard out of Culver Academy continued his strong play from last week with [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u. High IQ guard that shot the cover off the ball in the loss on Friday night. Operates in the pick and roll efficiently looking to make the right play while staying aggressive looking for his shot. Not the quickest or most athletic but has an unorthodox shiftiness to his game that allows him to get to spots. Really good shooter off the dribble with deep range. There are times he settles for the three when he could get in the lane. Has a nice floater with a soft touch. Really good passer with good timing. Competes on the defensive end. Active hands and is able to make things difficult for the opposition.
