<p>Spring Kickoff tipped off Friday at Metro State, and from the opening moments it was clear the players were ready for the stage. The energy was high, the competition was strong and a number of players stepped up and made the most of the opportunity in front of them. With summer upon us, this wasn't just another night in the gym but it was an early statement. Players showed growth, confidence and the ability to impact the game in different ways, giving a glimpse of what they're capable of moving forward. He consistently established strong post position, making himself an easy target inside while forcing defenders into tough spots. His mid range touch was impressive, knocking down shots with confidence when given space. On the glass he was active and physical, securing rebounds and creating extra possessions. Defensively his length altered everything around the rim, leading to blocks and countless difficult looks for opponents. His handle stood out immediately, paired with elite change of direction and pace that kept defenders guessing all game long. He controlled the tempo, picking his spots to attack and getting into the paint with ease. He showed touch finishing around defenders while also delivering dimes to teammates in stride. His vision and feel elevated everyone around him, and he consistently made the right read. Cordova's ability to create and command the game made him one of the most impactful guards at the tournament</p>

No shot seemed to faze him, as he confidently let it fly from deep with impressive range. His quick jumper made it tough for defenders to contest, especially with how fast he gets it off. Beyond his shooting he showed his athleticism and speed, attacking when defenders closed out too hard. He brought great energy and confidence every time he stepped on the floor, making a noticeable impact. Lewis proved he's a name to watch with his ability to score and play without hesitation</p>

On the other end he stayed locked in, competing on every possession and making things difficult for his matchup. His toughness, effort and competitive edge stood out, showing he's the type of player who impacts the game well beyond the box score</p>
