We had a monster slate of games going down at the Phenom Carolina Showcase in Bermuda Run, North Carolina at Rise Indoor Sports Complex with many of the state's top teams and in turn some of the nation's top players on full display this past weekend. On Sunday we had a ton of feature matchups go down and a ton of standouts to get to, so without further delay, let's take a look!

Duggins is continuing to show how special of a prospect he can be with his size, court awareness, skill, and well rounded athleticism. Duggins is the kind of big man that should touch the basketball every single possession with the quality of shot generated when he gets that touch being so much higher than if he didn't. His ability to assess the floor off of his touches in multiple spots is probably my favorite thing about his game. Adding in that he's got special outside touch for his age/size, the ability to play above the rim with consistency, along with the touch on his jump hooks with either hand around the basket. This CP3 15u group has a lot of talent with Duggins standing out amongst them.

Perry had a really strong weekend with [program_tooltip program_id='2399240' first='Dub' last='Salem'] who ducked no smoke this weekend as they had arguably the toughest schedule in the entire field regardless of age group. Perry ran the show for this team all weekend long, spreading the ball around to shooters and providing a ton of edge in the backcourt for this group. Shoutout to Coach Whit Holcomb Faye for keeping stats for his team, Perry averaged 7.5 Points, 3.4 Rebounds, 6.8 Assists, and 2.2 Steals on the weekend. Perry's slick handle, understanding of how to capitalize on angles, and court vision were on full display. He also found a way to contribute in the scoring department when his team needed him to. Perry is a name that will continue to garner next level attention over the course of this spring/summer.

Twitty is such a physical presence on the interior and that will be an incredibly important element to this [program_tooltip program_id='2227286' first='Team' last='Loaded South'] 3SSB. In their first game on Sunday morning, Twitty was a bull in a china shop around the rim, utilizing his strength to finish through contact and carved out space to rebound both backboards. Twitty plays a simple game, he hangs in that dunker spot as a dump-off option and looks to finish above the rim with regularity. He's catching in traffic with consistency and does a great job walling up defensively to protect the rim. Motor, size, and self-awareness are three great things to blend for a big man, and that is exactly the package that Twitty brings to the table for this group. With how big men are valued at the division one level, I fully expect programs to recognize what he brings to the table with his undeniable effort and production.

[player_tooltip player_id='2857137' first='Aaron' last='Parker'] has made the move to this super talented [program_tooltip program_id='2220892' first='Team' last='United'] 16u squad and is already starting to figure out the balance between fitting in and shining in your game. He's an extremely versatile and athletic wing with the ability to have a massive two way impact without being the entire focal point of a team. There is so much talent on this roster, the wealth has to be spread and Parker finds a way to shine with his level of activity at both ends of the floor. He does great work in transition offensively and is starting to really become a reliable mid-range shooter on the offensive end, allowing him to exploit mismatches in the half court off the bounce. Parker has great physical gifts that really shine on the defensive end of the floor. Despite being 6'8" at just 15 years old, Parker is able to slide his feet and stay in front of smaller/shiftier guards and is more than capable of recovering if he does get beat. I think Parker is really still in the foundation setting phase as a prospect with how much room he still has to grow and with that said, is incredibly impactful at both ends of the floor already. He will debut at or near the top in the 2029 class when those rankings drop.

Moore is the epitome of two way versatility in the 2028 class in North Carolina and he still possesses a ton of room to grow. Moore plays the game with an incredible sense of fearlessness which blends well with the physical gifts he possesses. In a remarkably intense game with [program_tooltip program_id='2220892' first='Team' last='United'], Moore was applying constant pressure on the rim, flying around defensively, and matching the edge that the opposition brought to the table. After a state championship season at Greenfield last year, Moore understands what kind of effort it takes to win these big games and despite coming up short, he showed very well for himself in multiple areas. There are still aspects of his game that need to be refined but that will come with time and I think college coaches will recognize what Moore can bring to the table as a prospect, sooner rather than later.
