Perry was the guy running the show all weekend. He sees the floor early, makes the simple play, and keeps the offense flowing. The assist numbers back it up, but it’s really his feel, he just knows where guys are supposed to be. Defensively, he was active too. High-level point guard traits.

Perry had a really strong weekend with Dub Salem who ducked no smoke this weekend as they had arguably the toughest schedule in the entire field regardless of age group. Perry ran the show for this team all weekend long, spreading the ball around to shooters and providing a ton of edge in the backcourt for this group. Shoutout to Coach Whit Holcomb Faye for keeping stats for his team, Perry averaged 7.5 Points, 3.4 Rebounds, 6.8 Assists, and 2.2 Steals on the weekend. Perry’s slick handle, understanding of how to capitalize on angles, and court vision were on full display. He also found a way to contribute in the scoring department when his team needed him to. Perry is a name that will continue to garner next level attention over the course of this spring/summer.

Perry is a rising name to know out of Carson High in the 704 area. He ranks No. 4 at the point guard position in the latest 2027 rankings market corrections. He’s a crafty floor general who can make things happen in a hurry with his passing ability as well as his shooting stroke on the perimeter. He’ll be one to keep an eye on with the Atlanta Timberwolves this grassroots season.

Perry continues to shine as a combo guard prospect who can stroke it from deep out of Carson High. He checks in at No. 39 with his school at 9-4 in the South Piedmont Conference. He’s a crafty-ball handler who’s shown he can make things happen as a perimeter threat and playmaker for the Cougars. As he continues to showcase what he can do, DII programs in the region should get eyes on him.

He’s a top playmaker in the class to get eyes on given his ability to make plays for himself and others. He’s a name to keep an eye on with Carolina Riptide on the grassroots scene in the month of July.
