PH Midwest Showdown: Friday Night 15U Standout Hoopers

Has a matured feel for game with fundamental soundness. Can score it from all 3 levels off the bounce. Eyes are peeled on the outlet or when initiating break phase. Gets to second level of defense quickly and will take on contact to get to stripe. Boards it effectively from position. High motor athlete who brings fundamentals and some flare. Did not back down and continued to fight through to next play. Plays with his head on a swivel while handling. Will make an extra pass if needed or will go through contact to endure physicality. Knocked down multiple 3's with 1 being from NBA range. Will go into jab steps, rip throughs, pump fakes, or spin moves and is comfortable missing it up to gain space or a step. Has skill to game as well but more importantly likes to compete. Takes it to the cup with a full head of steam. Stays composed when going through contact using strength to advantage. Finishes with toughness. Does a lot of his work in the paint area but showcased a soft touch fadeaway jumper from 5 feet as well. Stuck on the ball defensively with lateral movement and quick hands. Dove multiple times on the board for loose balls and came up with numerous steals as well. Offensively can handle with craftiness and change speeds. Put it on the deck and got to the cup at will at his discretion. Dials in with a quick first step burst and showcased significant hang time when finishing at the rim. More intriguing was his ability to see openings underneath once traffic condensed in the paint. Can score it from mid range and beyond arc as well.
