Smith had a breakout performance this week at the St. Louis Showcase. The sophomore scored 37 points on just 25 shots in a win over SW Illinois Jets. The 6'4" guard showcased his size and length, using both to his advantage when scoring from both inside the paint and outside of the arc. Silas handled the ball well and showed that he can takeover a game playing both on or off the ball. Smith is also an aggressive rebounder that plays with a ton of effort to corral loose balls. His five 3-point makes against the Jets were equally as impressive as he caught fire with some long range shots well beyond the 3-point line. Silas finished the St. Louis Showcase averaging 22.2 points per game.

Loera played consistently well this past weekend for Southern Assault Texoma. His 16U squad was able to put together some solid performances at the St. Louis Showcase. Loera led the team in rebounding, averaging 7.5 rebounds per contest. Loera works hard for position and understands where to be based on trajectories of missed shots. On the offensive end of the floor, he shows good skill and control under the basket. Dominyc plays under control and shows solid touch around the rim. Loera complimented Smith well, providing 10 points per game to finish as his teams second leading scorer.

Hooks looked very comfortable on the offensive side of the floor this weekend in St. Louis. Hooks competed with SA Texoma and was the primary ball handler for his team. Hooks pushed the pace and found easy baskets in transition, while also showing an ability to hit tough shots in the half court. Hooks is able to take contact around the rim well and keep his eyes on the rim. He finished off multiple 3-point plays thanks to his strength and balance. Defensively, he guarded multiple positions and made a big-time impact. From helping in the post and blocking shots, to hounding ball handlers into turnovers, Hooks was very active. His long arms and aggressive nature on that side of the floor allowed him to create steals and start the break for his club.

Tetteh had a strong showing for Team Oklahoma in Kansas City this past weekend. The sophomore was crucial in his teams success against 816 Hoops. Kobe scored 14 points and provided six assists and three steals for his club. The Piedmont standout loves to push the ball in transition and showed that he can finish both around and through contact. Kobe also continues to grow as a shooter and was able to hit from deep as well. At 6'2", he has long arms and is able to deflect passes and create steals. Tetteh has really solid vision and is always looking to create off the dribble. He was able to find teammates and routinely made the extra pass on the offensive end.

Attebery also stood out for Team Oklahoma in Kansas City. His best performance came against 816 Hoops, just like Tetteh. Evan fired in 19 points and led his team in scoring. The 6'0" guard plays well on the ball and shows that he can handle the ball against pressure. Evan plays with his head up and does an outstanding job of pushing pace for his team. Attebery showed that he can score from all three levels in Kansas City. He is a sneaky good athlete that has a quick release on his jump shot. When he can pair shot-making with his ball handling and ability to get down hill via the drive, he has been very tough for opponents to stop.

Underwood has been playing with a lot of confidence lately. He was named an impact player for his Team Oklahoma 16U team last weekend in Lubbock, Texas. King showed his strength in the paint and finished with some strong rebounding performances over the four game stretch for his team. Over the weekend, he averaged 10 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest. Underwood paired his athleticism with his great strength and was able to pursue the ball on both ends at a high rate. Defensively, he is able to switch onto guards and hold his own. He moves his feet well laterally and competes each possession. His versatility allows Team Oklahoma to utilize him in a number of different ways. King also ran the floor well and was able to beat larger defenders back in transition thanks to his speed and effort.

Brevin was also named an impact player from his Team Oklahoma organization for his play this past weekend in Kansas City. Walters led the 17U club in scoring and had a double-double against Get Buckets or Die. At 6'3", he utilized his length to snag 10 rebounds to go along with his 17 points. Brevin showed a smooth release from deep, paired with his driving ability. As a ball handler, he can start the break and shows good IQ by knowing where his teammates are at all times. Walters was able to snatch defensive rebounds and immediately push the ball, creating transition opportunities for both himself and others. Look for the junior to continue to gain momentum with Team Oklahoma as he gets more time with his teammates under his belt. His performance in Kansas City came on the heels of him averaging 10.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists the weekend prior in Lubbock.
