Continuing his impressively hot start to the spring playing in a featured role with this 17U HGSL NJ Panthers group, [player_tooltip player_id='2344534' first='James' last='Roberts'] showcased how his seamless fit offensively remains an intricate part of this Panthers' group's offensive success. Highlighting the value he consistently provides while also demonstrating the necessary refinement of his overall floor game as a more versatile guard, Roberts put tougher another standout showing— poised PnR operation off the bounce and getting in the lane while also keeping his court vision on drives to find open shooters when attacking coupled with his reliable ability to consistently knock down outside shots as a perimeter spot up shooter.

An extremely deadly and confident shooting threat from the perimeter who has soft outside shooting touch, [player_tooltip player_id='2344526' first='MJ' last='Jarrell'] settled into a nice rhythm that saw him do most of his damage from beyond the three point line. Whether it was creating separation off the dribble and knocking down outside shots off the bounce or spot up shooting off the catch with deep range accuracy, Jarrell showcased a lot of his potent shot making arsenal. Countering that outside shooting touch, Jarrell also demonstrated an increased comfort in attacking off the bounce— inviting contact on his way to the lane for physical drives and finishing in traffic around the basket.

Bringing veteran experience and a well rounded skill set to the backcourt, [player_tooltip player_id='2202014' first='Rey' last='Weinseimer'] is a guard who possesses a strong feel for the game and contributes in multiple areas across the board. Weinseimer showcased a lot of those strong intangibles in many different instances — bringing toughness on the defensive end of the floor, finishing at the rim out of different half court sets offensively, and confident and efficient perimeter shot making particularly as a movement shooter all while also providing reliable ball handling whenever tasked with doing so.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201962' first='Andrew' last='Iduh'], a physically imposing big with a strong and bruising build who often uses his brute force to impose his will on defenders, showed flashes of strong hand efficient finishing on the interior around the basket. Making the most of his opportunities on the interior, particularly converting on open looks, Iduh showcased his value in the paint—generating and capitalizing off second chance opportunities on the offensive glass while also showing flashes of his scoring ability with efficiency in the low post. On the defensive end, Iduh showed, for the most part, solid instincts and discipline, rebounding effectively and protecting the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2218637' first='Kieran' last='Quinn'] stands out as one of the more intriguing prospects in his class, consistently bringing a compelling blend of true offensive versatility and rare fluidity for his size. Quinn's ability to influence the game both inside and on the perimeter continues to give this Panthers' 17U HGSL squad a distinct and highly effective offensive edge— impressing the most this past weekend, finishing strong around the basket with soft touch and polished footwork as a roller out of PnR action and capitalizing off second chance points on the offensive glass, showcasing his ability to make quick decisions attacking closeouts to get in the paint and maintain his vision to find others, while also showcasing further promise he adds as a potent floor spacer stretching the defense and knocking down open shots as as a spot up threat.
