Womack is a premier shooter in The State of North Carolina and cemented his status as one of those guys with the way he helped lead West Charlotte to a State Championship. Luckily for his [program_tooltip program_id='2227286' first='Team' last='Loaded South'] 3SSB group, that momentum carried over and Womack helped lead the charge as they captured a championship at The Big Shots Rise Tip-Off. Womack is a guy that you cannot let get comfortable with open jumpers because he's simply too good and will make you pay for leaving him. Womack is legit 6'5" now allowing him to shoot over smaller defenders with ease. Womack finished with 19 in the championship win over Harvest Development with his full scoring arsenal on display. Expect Womack to get more and more national recruiting attention as he continues to stack big performances like this.

[player_tooltip player_id='3475974' first='Luca' last='Sarnowska'] might have the best motor in the State of North Carolina regardless of class and that thing was humming on all cylinders this weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2078512' first='NC' last='Spartans'] Dumas as they came up just short in the Championship at The Big Shots Rise Tip Off. Sarnowska's undeniable productivity and energy have become what we expect from him and he's now doing it as an unsigned senior for this [program_tooltip program_id='2078512' first='NC' last='Spartans'] group. He's definitely a next level player with his ability to make plays around the basket, find teammates in different spots on the floor, and rebound, particularly on the offensive end at a really high level. He had multiple big scoring games for his team this weekend as they went 4-1 in what was an impressive showing for [program_tooltip program_id='2078512' first='NC' last='Spartans']. Sarnowska will continue to be a thorn in the side for anyone that has to play against him and that will surely grab the attention of a program in need of some instant energy next season.

Johnson is off to a really strong start with [program_tooltip program_id='2076456' first='PSB' last='Elite'] Barnes as a consistent double double threat showing flashes of skill. At On The Radar Carolina Mania, Johnson did a really nice job for his group as a reliable interior scorer and consistent rebounder at both ends. His touch, motor, and physical tools were on full display as he looks to solidify his status as a next level prospect with this group. When a kid like Johnson plays as hard as he does and possesses the ability to step out and make some jumpers, it is really intriguing. Rarely do skilled bigs embrace being physical, that is not the case for this young man. He's definitely going to land in the top 100 when we update the 2027 rankings in late spring ahead of the June Live Periods and we'll see how far he rises, because this is a classic late bloomer here in NC.

Vickery continues to make real progress as his obvious talent is showing that it can directly translate to production and W's vs high level competition. Vickery helped his [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] EYBL 17u team to a quality weekend at The Phenom Hoops Grassroots TOC. Vickery was dominant in their big win over TLBA UAA 17s and despite coming up short vs his former team in Upward Stars, Vickery is showing that he can be impactful at both ends of the floor while still playing with that signature flare we love to see from him. Vickery's ability to play on the ball at his size is really impressive along with his catch and shoot prowess, making him a true combo at 6'5". Vickery is starting to use those physical tools he possesses to play defense at a much higher level and the standard [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] will hold him to, should only make him a more well rounded prospect. He's got a chance to rise in the rankings, potentially into the top 5.

Walters will be exploring a prep year as he has made the decision to reclassify to the 2027 class and it looks like it will be a perfect move for him as he's already starting to establish momentum with his performances. He's off to a great start with his [program_tooltip program_id='2078516' first='No' last='Guts No Glory'] UA Rise 17u team and they had a great weekend at the Phenom Hoops Grassroots TOC this past weekend. Walters is a kid we really liked even as a 2026, the reclassification gives him more time to craft his skillset into the best player he can be. As he becomes more and more confident in his off hand while showing his growth as a jump shooter, his physical gifts will only shine brighter. Walters will likely have many post grad programs seeking him out and he'll only build more momentum with college coaches if he can perform like this at the UA Rise sessions later on this spring/summer.

Murchison is a really talented lead guard with a ton of ability that is running with [program_tooltip program_id='2227286' first='Team' last='Loaded South'] 3SSB 15u and he helped his team capture a championship at The Big Shots Rise Tip Off. Murchison is a really skilled guard with quick twitch ability and a natural instinct with the ball in his hands to flat out carve defenses up off the dribble. He averaged 18 PPG on the weekend as he helped lead his team to the championship. A member of the class of 2029, Murchison is tracking as one of the top guards in NC in that class and is looking to stack weekends like this to build momentum in this 15u summer. Playing with KSR Christian this past season allowed Murchison to play against older guys and a higher level of competition than most public schools, making him extremely battle tested for a 2029 kid. As he continues to refine his game and stack big weekends, I fully expect Murchison to start garnering next level attention in due time.
