The 2028 class has a ton of early hype and a lot of offers already. As they move to being upperclassmen, the rankings are starting to shuffle and there are some players who have come from out of nowhere to climb near the top. Here's a look at the updated 2028 rankings as we move towards their Junior seasons.

Hillerich's Sophomore season came to an early end after an ACL tear but before that point, Trey was starting to establish himself as a top big man in Louisville. Able to stretch out past the three point line, Trey has big time potential if he comes back healthy and adds bulk to his frame.

Perhaps the best scorer in the class, Austin had 2 different games where he scored 40+ points. He also did his scoring efficiently. Davie is capable of getting downhill and tearing the rim down or stepping out and knocking down perimeter jumpers. If you're looking for a player who just gets things done, [player_tooltip player_id='2694628' first='Austin' last='Davie'] is one of the best.

A big time shooter with size, Grayson has really developed his game over the past couple of years. Burton has the size to raise up and shoot over defenders and has improved his off the bounce game to the point where he is capable of getting past defenders and finishing at the rim. Burton's best is really good and he could actually be underrated at 8th in the class.

Similar to [player_tooltip player_id='2694628' first='Austin' last='Davie'], Brady is a player who just gets things done on the basketball court. You can watch Orem play and realize how much he impacts the game as a whole. He rebounds and defends and is capable of scoring a the rim or stretching out and attacking. If you're in a must-win situation, Brady is a player you want on your team.

Orem's AAU teammate, Everett has maybe the most potential of anyone in the class. Standing almost 6'10" and able to shoot nearly 40% from three, Stuart has a chance to be really, really good. Path forward, Everett needs to continue getting stronger if he wants to reach his ceiling but he is a matchup nightmare with his size and skill set.
