[player_tooltip player_id='2377913' first='Alex' last='Asmus'] of Morris Area (6'3). Alex is a top 100 player/prospect in the state. He scored 18 plus points a game on a team that lost one game all season and was number one in state for a good part of the season. He is a skilled 6'3 guard that is also a very good football and baseball prospect. In fact, basketball might be his third sport possibly and he is a top 100 kid in Minnesota. Let that sink in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2391636' first='Sully' last='Dahlberg'] of Blue Earth (6'4). I think Dahlberg has a chance to really pop as a prospect this 17u season. He has size, length, skill, agility and a motor. Those are five very good pieces that scouts look for. The next thing that needs to be seen is using those gifts and consistently using them for success in 17u. Sully had a good high school season and if the 17u season is strong some great things could come with it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2984140' first='Carson' last='Harstad'] of Chatfield (6'3). Carson will be a three time all league player for a team that is getting better and has a chance to be pretty good next season. Harstad scored over 21 points a game and will be one of the better Class AA scorers next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2138701' first='Mat' last='Matejka'] of Dover-Eyota (6'4). When it comes to players taking steps as prospects Matejka is one of the players that should be talked about. He had a couple school record games this year with his 50 point performance and the eight threes made in a contest. Matejka has some guard/wing size and is developing as a shooter to go with it. Averaged 22.6 points a game this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435185' first='Karsten' last='Miller'] of Zumbrota-Mazeppa (6'6). Playing in a frontcourt with great size including a D2 signed player, Miller was still one of the better players on the team scoring in the paint and facing up. Averaged 11 plus points a game and will be to go-to guy next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569234' first='Dejon' last='Scott Jr'] of Concordia Academy (6'2). Scott had some games this year that showed what his potential can be and that is college basketball at a good spot. He grew as a player in a big way from the first half of the season to the second including the 27 points against Holy Family, 28 against Highland Park and 34 against St. Agnes. He's a good athlete that can get to the rim, and get to his pull-up. To take the next step he needs to become more consistent although we saw that as Scott went from ten or less in seven of the first name games to double figure scoring in just about every game after.
