West Valley Under Classman Season Standouts : SG/CG

The talent ranges from nationally ranked 5 stars all the way to completely under the radar talent. Remy's Versatility is what sets him apart from the pack. He is a true combo guard and playmaker. His ability to put his head down and go get a bucket is next level. Remy can be facilitator at times and setup teammates for easy buckets or set up the offense. Remy has slowly become the best player on the court over the second half of the season for Hayden. Adan can beat you in multiple ways especially from the mid range where he can get hot in an instant. Adan can post up in the midrange and hit fadeaways on the base line or bump off defenders and rise over them. He also has a good pull up from midrange and the three. He can handle the ball under pressure and has a tight handle. When he attacks the rim he does it with speed and aggression and will try to dunk on defenders. Adan's size and skill is what makes him so special. His ability to hit the three at a high clip and from deep range opened up the rest of his game. The lefty has a nice handle and some shiftiness to his game. He also likes to get to the midrange and or floater area to score. MyKing also has some solid vision and is not afraid to try and thread the needle every once in awhile. He lead Westview to the 5th seed in 4A and a second round appearance. Jadon's ability to hit tough contested jumpers makes him a hard guard for smaller players. He can also get down hill at will and and bump off defenders with his strong frame. Jaydon will also try to come down the lane and dunk the ball though traffic. HIs size, athleticism and skill is what makes him such an elite and intriguing prospect. Mehki has some shiftiness to his game and a solid handle. He is a solid shooter that has a quick release from three and can get hot real fast. He uses a nice hesi to get the the rim and finish. He is at his best in the open floor and can even hit the the pull up three in transition. Defensively he has good hands and plays the passing lanes well. His ability to get to the rim is one of his best abilities and most effective. He has a quick first step and isn't afraid to bump off defenders to create space. He has improved his three ball this year and shot 38%. His improved shooting gave his team more spacing and himself more opportunity to score. Defensively he is tough and works hard and can take on multiple matchups. King helped lead his team to a 2 seed in 6A and was selected to the 6A West Valley 2nd team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
