<p>The state tournament is coming to a close with state finals taking place over the next couple of days. Groups 1 and 3 had their state semifinals on Wednesday with prospects putting up big performances on the night to help their teams advance. Here are the standouts from Wednesday's semifinals.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3544240' first='Joshua' last='Lenko'], 6'3 SF/PF Ocean City 2027</strong></h2>

<p>Lenko put up a monster performance on Wednesday night as he put up a game-high 30 points. The 6'3 forward was scorching hot from behind the arc as he drilled six triples. Lenko moved well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He worked for rebounds on both ends of the floor and jumped passing lanes on both ends of the floor. Lenko's ability to stretch the floor for distance is something that will help Ocean City in a big way over the course of the state final.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2683648' first='Jayce' last='Rodriguez'], 6'2 SG Colonia 2028</strong></h2>

<p>Rodriguez continued his hot streak during the state tournament as he put up a game-high 27 points. The 6'2 guard was consistently drawing contact throughout the game as he was at the foul line throughout the night. Rodriguez shot the ball with confidence as he knocked down all 14 of his free throw attempts and hit three triples. He was able to find his open teammates in the half court and moved well without the ball in his hands. Rodriguez is capable of putting up points in bunches, which he should put on display during the state final.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2348977' first='Marjon' last='Skillman'], 6'4 PF Thrive Charter 2026</strong></h2>

<p>Skillman was a force for the Titans down low as he put 14 points and 13 rebounds. The 6'4 forward used his strong frame to get position down low and showed a nice touch around the rim. Skillman also put the ball on the floor and set strong screens in the half court. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and held his ground on the defensive end. Skillman is a physical forward prospect who should put his game on display in the state final on Sunday.</p>

<p>Blackmon paced the Bulldogs' offense as he put up a team high 16 points. The 5'9 guard used his tight handle to blow by his defender off the bounce and finished nicely around the rim. Blackmon also scored in the mid-range and showed the ability to play off the ball as well. He was unafraid of drawing contact and worked hard on the defensive end. Blackmon is a speedy guard prospect who should continue his breakout campaign in the </p>

<p>Del Rey put up a game-high 24 points as he did everything he could for Waldwick. The Nebraska Wesleyan commit used his handle to get to his spot on the floor and shot the ball with confidence. Del Rey moved well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He was able to find his open teammates in the half court and worked hard on defense. Del Rey had an incredible varsity career for Waldwick as he poured in over 2,100 points and hit over 300 three-pointers in his high school career.</p>
