One of the top scorers in the entire Southwest Conference, the junior swingman showed all season long his ability to get buckets at all three levels. His combination of size and skill on the wing proved to be a matchup problem for opponents and he was especially dangerous getting out and scoring in transition.

Gallic was the engine that made Sheldon go this season. The senior point guard pushed the pace, kept defenders off-balance with his dribble-drive, and found the open man for buckets going to the hoop or out beyond the three-point arc. When called upon, he could score the ball as well and he's a pest on defense, creating turnovers with his quick hands. At season's end he should be one of the top assist leaders in all of 6A.

The transfer from 4A Marist showed he belonged at the state's highest classification from day one and his combination of size, length, athleticism, and skills were among the best in the entire state - not just the Southwest Conference. Holmes made an impact on both ends of the floor and when he really got going offensively, he posted some huge games statistically for a squad that tied for the conference title.

South Medford was completely balanced this year but if there was one guy to select for a league player of the year candidate, it would be Johnson. The senior led the team in both scoring and rebounding and was consistently depended upon all season long. Long and lanky, he played bigger than his size and converted high-percentage shots while shooting free throws at a 80+ percentage clip as well.

Arguably the top overall athlete in the entire league, Rossetta took his talents from quarterbacking the football team to dominating the hardwood. The junior forward is a beast to handle down on the block but not only has the mobility and athleticism to face the basket and attack, but the touch on his shot to hit threes. He's one of the state's top rebounders and routintely has to battle double teams and defenses that specifically try to neutralize him.
