Very few prospects in the state of New Jersey, regardless of class, saw their stocks truly elevate the way [player_tooltip player_id='2858267' first='Oscar' last='Martinez'] did this high school season, ultimately emerging as a critical piece in St. Peter's Prep capturing its fourth straight Hudson County title and a NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public A sectional championship— a breakout junior season that saw him legitimately emerge as a true connective two way impact 3&D wing, displaying a natural scoring instinct within the flow of the offense while also providing defensive versatility, effectively guarding multiple positions. Rarely forcing action on the offense end of the floor, Martinez shined knocking down opportunistic in rhythm catch and shoot threes with confidence and extreme efficiency, moving well without the ball as a cutter to capitalize off easy scoring chances, and attacking closeouts with quick decision making while also being extremely impactful on the offensive glass. On the defensive end, his length and toughness allowed him to be a difference maker both as a strong rebounder and a versatile multi positional defender. Martinez's development heading into the summer time will be interesting to track to see what additional growth he takes in his game going forward.

To think a prospect who's currently ranked inside the ESPN top 35 could elevate his stock any more, four star guard [player_tooltip player_id='2344521' first='Micah' last='Gordon'] did just that— putting together as impressive an individual season as anybody in the state of New Jersey in recent history in the midst of a junior season that saw firmly establish himself as the best player in the state. In a junior season that saw him boast impressive averages of 24.7 PPG, 5.29 APG, and 5.13 APG on the way to capturing back to back NJSIAA Group 4 state championships and knocking off New Jersey's #1 team in Bergen Catholic in The Throne National Championship quarterfinal, Gordon was nothing short of outstanding— consistently dictating the game on his own terms scoring effortlessly at all three levels with natural scoring instincts and smooth creativity off the bounce, while also embracing his role as a facilitator with the court vision and instinctual passing feel, uplifting those he shared the floor with to create for others and consistently put teammates in the right positions to succeed. It'll be interesting to monitor what his trajectory looks like with the momentum he's generated thus far heading into the summer amongst the national 2027 class.
