PSAL 4A Championship Key Performers

He intercepted a pass and went coast to coast for a layup, then hit a high floater over two defenders. His backcourt steal led to a dunk, and he added a key help‑side block on Robinson. In overtime, he was fouled with three seconds left in a tie game and calmly sank both free throws to put his team up by two. He made numerous winning plays throughout the game and overtime.     Doc created an open court deflection and used his strong defensive hands to crowd the driver. He used a crossover to get into a two dribble pullup from 15 feet and opened the half with a pullup three. He also hit a long bank three and provided good help defense on a drive that led to a steal. He was effective on both ends all game long.     He hit a catch and shot three from the left wing off an inbound pass and showed strong transition defense by stopping the break. He made a solid help side block on the big man and forced a turnover with his on ball pressure. He turned down a three for a smooth pull up jumper, then later connected on a right corner three to give his team the lead heading into overtime.     He showed strong hands, causing deflections and playing effective on ball defense at the half court line. He ran the lane well and finished in the paint, using his shiftiness and quickness to drive, reverse‑pivot, and create a jumper. He scored with a downhill high floater and made a sharp inbound pass, then received it back and found a cutter at the rim for a dunk.     He intercepted the first pass to the baseline using his length and anticipation. He ran the floor, caught the ball in transition, and finished behind the defense. He knocked down a step back three from the left corner, added a catch and shoot three from the same spot, and scored on a turnaround jumper inside     Lee continued to pressure the defense with his ability to drive with either hand and his vision to make the next play. He played strong on‑ball defense, passed into the post, and relocated to the corner for a catch and shot three. Throughout the night, he showed active defensive hands capable of creating steals. He also hit a left‑wing three off the dribble while drawing a foul. He consistently made winning plays and scored effortlessly.     The game MVP created scoring opportunities off the dribble, driving straight to the rim and finishing in the paint. Coming off the bench, he made an impact with his physical play, forcing turnovers and converting at the rim. He also showed shot making ability, using a step back jumper and faking a three on the right wing to flow into a one dribble pull up..     He played like a senior who truly understood the moment. He crashed the offensive boards early and made a strong recovery block after a turnover. He finished well off an inbound play and scored in traffic after a rebound tap back that tied the game and sent it into overtime. He showed tremendous grit and a relentless will to win. In overtime, he delivered another key recovery block to preserve a two point lead. Throughout the game, he continued to make key, often overlooked plays that helped his team stay in control.
