Prep Hoops Indiana Regional Preview – Class 1A South

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last week there were 404 teams across four classes that began their journey to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Now, a week later, only 64 Sectional champions are still alive. That group will be cut in half once again following Saturday's Regional round. We will spend this week here at Prep Hoops Indiana previewing the upcoming Regional games. The Jeeps of Northeast Dubois were able to avenge a 54-21 deficit from earlier in the season to defeat Wood Memorial in the Sectional 64 championship game. They have played some very competitive games against strong competition this season. As for Bloomfield, they have the star power in 6'6" unsigned senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560962' first='Blake' last='Neill'] who averages 28.2 points per game. If the Jeeps can contain Neill they could have a chance at pulling off another upset against the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A #7 Cardinals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Under-the-Radar Regional Matchup - South Decatur vs. Hauser</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hauser comes in sporting an impressive 24-2 record and #4 ranking in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Poll. They are led by a talented senior backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='2814297' first='Gavin' last='Keller'], a Hanover College commit, and [player_tooltip player_id='2272841' first='Stryker' last='Gill']. Both were key pieces of last season's Semi-State team. South Decatur is now 18-6 and features an impressive inside-outside tandem. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1880285' first='Drake' last='Scaggs'] puts up 20.6 points 5.7 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game while senior forward Cayden Drake averages 17.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
