He's too versatile. The power and footwork combination is nothing shy of special. If you try to matchup Bascom with athleticism, he can slow you down and use his frame. If you try to match power, he'll face rim and shoot or find space. The Tuskegee University commit has been a perfect fit for Avondale. He has a reputation as a player that can fill it up from well beyond the arc. While he can, he adds much more to this team. Muhl has been that steadying force for his team, making smart passes and smart plays. Since that's the case, could this game come down to a battle of the bigs? Pioneer has a 6-8 center that will play baseball at the next level. If Stewart can at least neutralize his influence on the glass and high percentage looks at the rim, it would go a long way in leading to an East Lansing win. Stewart is a constant points and rebounds double-double threat. Lamb is a great guy for the job. In my opinion, defense has always been his calling card. There was chatter during and after last rounds win about the way that Lamb defended.
