The junior guard is known for his sharpshooting. And just like in Saturday's win, he delivered on that front with three triples on the way to a game high 22 points. But when it came to the biggest moment, he didn't settle for the three. He got to the rack, hung in the air and scored a clutch bucket to go up by one. Then he responded with the clamps on the defensive end by locking up a drive attempt by one of NRC's best guards, forcing a jump ball. They will be two of the most impressive clutch moments all week. And because of him Fort Gibson isn't done, as they'll play Cascia Hall at 3:00 PM on Thursday at Yukon.

Similar to the win on Saturday, while Scott wasn't the most impressive scorer. He stayed relatively steady and delivered big jumpers and drives when needed. Has a good mid-range jumper. Stayed calm on drives, has good pick and roll chemistry with his big. Did a little bit of everything with 8 points, 4 steals and 2 assists. The looks he created went beyond the box score. Winning matters for PGs and Fort now has 24 wins on the year. With only two more needed for Gold.

An energetic multiple sport standout, he was all over the paint. Playing much bigger than his height thanks to his hops. Was part of NRC closing the first half strong, first drawing a key foul on a rebound attempt. Finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds. All toughness and grit, even taking a big charge in the second half.

When North Rock Creek had it going in the first half, it was the unselfish and energetic play of Gaines that put them over the top. Scored 10 points himself, but multiple times he was the catalyst of great ball movement. Flinging accurate and quick passes all over the court. Looks ready for a bigger role next year, as NRC will aim to extend their State Tournament appearance streak to 5.

The baseball standout was the high scorer for NRC with 13 points. He was fun to watch this year because he's tall and built like a brick house. Giving him bruiser status around the rim but he also can step out and shoot with the best of them. The type of unique multiple sport athlete who makes high school basketball even more fun.
