The dust has finally settled and just like that, we have four games set for the Indiana High School Boys State Finals this upcoming weekend. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as always and will get the chance to watch all four games. The Class 1A State Championship matchup will feature the Barr-Reeve Braves vs. the Triton Trojans in the first game on Saturday, and with that, here are two players to watch from both teams.

There have been a lot of sophomores whose stock has risen this season, and one of those players is Barr-Reeve's [player_tooltip player_id='2797665' first='Braxton' last='Neidigh']. The 6'2” wing has been a big factor in Barr-Reeve's run to the state finals, averaging 10.1 points while shooting a team-high 54 percent from the field. He is likely the best college prospect on the Braves this year due to his combination of length and athleticism mixed with a unique skill set. Barr-Reeve will come in as the favorite this weekend, and Neidigh is a major X-factor for them.

From a statistical standpoint, [player_tooltip player_id='3045017' first='Kierson' last='Lengacher'] is the top player for the Barr-Reeve Braves. Simply put, the Braves likely would not be in this position with a state finals appearance if it were not for the senior shooting guard's play throughout both the regular season and postseason. He is averaging a team-high 13.9 points while also adding 2.6 assists per game. Lengacher impacts the game on both ends of the floor, playing with a high IQ and an underrated level of craftiness with the ball.

The Triton Trojans have been led by two players this season, one of them being sophomore shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2443367' first='Brady' last='Wood']. Wood has been averaging a little over 12 points per game for the Trojans and, by many accounts, feels like the main X-factor for Triton in its matchup vs. Barr-Reeve. He is a good athlete with great elevation on his jump shot, creative finishing ability, and a smooth outside stroke. He is really only getting started in his development as a player and has already gained valuable experience from a state finals run.

The other top player for the Triton Trojans is senior leader and 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2399000' first='Gage' last='Riffle']. While he is on the shorter end, Riffle is a do-it-all type of guard and has been one of their top "go-to" guys all season long. Along with having a good regular season, Riffle has stepped up in many ways this postseason as well. He is a great complementary piece alongside his backcourt teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2443367' first='Brady' last='Wood'].
