The #1 player in Tennessee remains uncommitted and unsigned. [player_tooltip player_id='1659513' first='Christopher' last='Washington Jr.'] initially verbally committed to University of Alabama but did not sign with them come November. He is open for business and we will keep you updated on the latest.

Whitehaven pulled a huge win over Houston High this week, forcing their way into a sub-state game on Monday. Credit three of the best uncommitted players for their win: [player_tooltip player_id='1560097' first='Kayin' last='Mitchell'], [player_tooltip player_id='1762918' first='Bosah' last='Louis Onwuta'], [player_tooltip player_id='2886050' first='Aliyu' last='Idris'] . Whitehaven Head Coach Willie Kemp credited [player_tooltip player_id='1560097' first='Kayin' last='Mitchell'] with slowing #1 prospect from the junior class [player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'], a task almost nobody could complete all year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2886050' first='Aliyu' last='Idris'] and Bosah are uncommonly strong and big for Memphis-area bigs. Frankly, neither are really Memphis dudes and both were brought in this season. Idris came from Nebraska and Bosah played for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy previously. Still, they are the kind of guys that can actually deal with Bartlett's insane size. Nobody else statewide compares in that aspect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1477322' first='Sean' last='Capshaw'] (Bearden) maintains at least four offers. Tennessee Wesleyan University offered him long ago. They would still love to have Capshaw in their blue and white. Johnson University also offered the District Co-MVP. Maryville College Head Coach Raul Placeres offered Capshaw too. The last offer of the confirmed quartet of offers comes from Pellissippi State Community College.

[player_tooltip player_id='1296308' first='Reid' last='Conley']'s Chattanooga Prep team is still alive and hunting a Class 2A State Tournament appearance. Conley remains one of the best uncommitted guards. Chattanooga Prep put him forward as a Mr. Basketball nominee, but he did not make the finalists. Reid puts up about 17.5 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per, 3.3 assists per game, and hits almost half of his 3-point attempts. The Battle of the Nashville named him a Player of the Game in December. He recorded a season high of 29 points New Year's Eve day.

Wofford University called [player_tooltip player_id='1296308' first='Reid' last='Conley'] and his family in early January. They are one of several programs in the mix.

Brentwood Academy senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2194624' first='Eli' last='Brown'] keeps a few strong possibilities. He took a visit to University of the South way back in September. They are an offer. UT Southern offered him. BA's season ended earlier than they hoped, so his focus can turn fully to the recruitment phase.
