The Panthers have been the best team in TSSAA Division 1 Class 4A this season, and their point guard has led the charge. He's key performances against Houston, Whitehaven, and non-district opponents. Williams has taken quality shots all season long. He's done a great job taking care of the basketball. Williams has been poised in big games this season. The 6-foot-0 guard was stellar for a Lions program that fell short of a spot in the quarterfinals round of the Class 2A state tournament. Alexander is a three-level scorer. He's crafty and shifty and can make shots from the perimeter. Alexander plays hard on each possession. He led Cannon County in points (19.8) and assists (5.3) this season. Losing [player_tooltip player_id='2876404' first='Lukas' last='Phillips'], who averaged 19.1 points this season, will hurt, but Alexander returning is a great piece to build around for the 2026 season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Terry moves closer to the top 10</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fayette Ware's [player_tooltip player_id='2796643' first='Kylon' last='Terry'] moved up a spot to No. 10. The 6-2 guard was a 3A Mr. Basketball finalist this season after leading the Wildcats to a 3A District 15 regular season title. Terry finishes well around the rim. He doesn't shy away from contact. Terry is a lethal shooter. He can make shots from the perimeter, whether a hand is in his face or not. Terry averaged 18.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.7 steals per game.
