There are so many talented kids in this state that it can be incredibly difficult to rank them accurately and there bound to be some prospects that aren't ranked quite as highly as they might like but still bring a ton of great things to the table for their team and potentially even at the next level. Let's take a quick look at some guys outside of the top 100 that can really really play and deserve the spotlight.

Green Level is on a bit of a cinderella run through the NCHSAA 8A Playoffs right now and Midkiff has been a consistent presence in their backcourt. He's averaging 10.0 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 4.1 Assists, and 2.0 Steals per game on 41/35/72 splits on a team that dealt with some struggles during the regular season but look to be peaking at the right time. Midkiff possesses the ability to make outside shots, run your offense, and play with a ton of heart defensively. Green Level lost a lot of talent this offseason with Isaac Ericksen graduating and NC 2026 #1 [player_tooltip player_id='2382809' first='Trevor' last='Manhertz'] transferring over to Christ School, but they've found a way to find themselves on another deep run with Midkiff running the team. His ability to help his team execute down the stretch has been crucial on this playoff run. Midkiff will have another chance to get another upset win and keep the Green Level dream alive if they can find a way to knock off top seed in the East at Hoggard.

Daniels has been one of the most consistent producers in the 919 all season at Middle Creek who finished with a 17-11 record on the season before losing to EE Smith in the 2nd round the NCHSAA 6A playoffs. Daniels has steadily progressed into the player he is now which is a stabilizing PG with the upside to score at a high level with consistency. Daniels averaged 18.4 Points, 6.1 Rebounds, 4.8 Assists, and 2.5 Steals per game on 47/40/72 shooting splits as well. With a guy like Daniels that just steadily improved in his game and production over the course of his career, that's the kind of player and kid you'd bet on being successful at the next level. His approach to his development and within the game line up and it's clear that there's a next level player hiding in plain sight over at Middle Creek. Daniels can run your team, make outside shots, and bring a ton of leadership to your locker room.

Tyler has been a consistent presence in the Wayne Country Day backcourt over the course of his high school career and has simply done a whole lot of winning. Bringing a steady hand at the PG spot, legit range on his jumper, and a ton of toughness, Tyler possesses a ton of next level traits that should have schools looking for late additions to be calling his name. Tyler's ability to make shots off the catch allow him to co-exist along other on-ball guards but he really is such a smart PG with the ability to run a team. That versatility was key for Tyler in his high school career playing alongside prolific scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1165176' first='Marcel' last='Freeman'] where they enjoyed so much success together at Wayne Country Day. Tyler is definitely a kid that deserves next level opportunities and should continue to improve his game at the next level.

Beale is a guy who unfortunately had his season end last night after a magical playoff run for Garner that saw them win consecutive road games and forcing Southern Durham to overtime on the road as well before coming up just short. Beale is a mismatch guy that brings so much effort to the table combined with his physical gifts and skillset. Beale is an incredibly underrated passer especially when given the chance to purvey the defense and make a decision. There's also some refinement in his game still to come, making his upside apparent and seeing that he still has so much room to grow. Beale can make some outside shots that keep the defense honest but when those aren't falling, he's getting to the rim and causing chaos. He gets to the line with frequency, brings a ton of energy at all times, and should continue to garner more next level opportunities as the coaching carousel and transfer portal events transpire.

Haney played a vital role on an Ambassador Christian team that was flooded with next level talent all over their roster. Haney was a consistent two way contributor for this group all season long, averaging 6.9 Points, 1.9 Rebounds, 2.2 Assists, 0.8 Steals, and 0.5 Blocks per game on 52/47/68 shooting splits. Haney found a way to showcase his strengths on this team by embracing his role as a primary perimeter defender and secondary creator on the offensive end. Haney found a way to capitalize on the touches he got by scoring with efficiency from all over the floor this season. Haney is also capable of popping off with offensive spurts from time to time, showing that he brings a lot to the table at that end of the floor. He wasn't a full time PG for this group but played a lot of minutes there where he kept the offense moving in the right direction. Haney has quick feet and great anticipation defensively with the ability to make plays on the ball and turn defense into offense. I fully expect Haney to garner more next level opportunities as some schools get more clarity on their roster situation for the 26-27 season.
