The Villains' senior forward stuffed the stat sheet with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals in a win over Triad College Prep on this week. Thompson set the tone from the opening tip, scoring at all three levels and igniting Bishop McGuinness's defense by jumping into passing lanes. His high motor was evident as he crashed the boards and came up with numerous hustle plays. Thompson's two-way dominance and veteran leadership helped Bishop seize control early.

Calvert continued his stellar senior campaign by guiding Calvary Day to a win over Wesleyan Christian. Fresh off surpassing the 1,000 career point milestone, Calvert displayed the efficient scoring and savvy playmaking that have defined his season. He poured in timely buckets and showed a knack for getting into the lane and finishing or pulling up from mid-range. As the Cougars' floor general, Calvert controlled the pace, finding open teammates and rarely turning the ball over. His poise and leadership were evident throughout the game, which is a prime example of why he's Calvary's go-to guy. With his blend of court vision, ball-handling, and the ability to score or assist out of any situation, Calvert solidified his status as one of the Triad's elite senior guards.

Gunter produced 19 points to help power Greensboro Day's win over Caldwell Academy this week. He plays beyond his years, knocking down shots from the perimeter and slashing to the rim in transition. Gunter's scoring surge in the second half helped the Bengals break the game open, as Caldwell had no answer for his quickness and smooth shooting stroke. Defensively, he applied pressure on opposing ball-handlers, contributing to GDS's stifling effort. Gunter has shown why he is one of the area's rising stars, his mature poise, ability to score in bunches, and willingness to defend are all traits that bode well for the Bengals' title hopes and cement his reputation as a high-upside young talent in the Triad.

Juergens delivered 17 points in the Bengals' victory over Caldwell Academy, providing a lethal outside-inside combination alongside Gunter. He was a consistent threat from the perimeter in the second half, sinking multiple threes that stretched the defense. Juergens' versatility was on display as he used his length to finish above the rim on fast breaks and showed a soft touch from beyond the arc. As a Class of 2028 prospect, he's quickly making a name for himself as a matchup nightmare, capable of scoring over smaller guards or blowing by bigger forwards. Juergens also crashes the boards and rotates well on defense, demonstrating a burgeoning all-around game. His combination of size, skill, and athleticism has college coaches already intrigued.

Johnson poured in 17 points as Caldwell Academy faced powerhouse Greensboro Day on Friday. He showcased determination and creativity, finding ways to get buckets despite constant pressure. He hit tough pull-up jumpers and attacked the basket fearlessly, absorbing contact to earn points the hard way. Johnson's effort kept Caldwell competitive early on. While his team fell short, Johnson's ability to create his own offense against one of the state's top defenses was a highlight.
