Justin Frison Justin Frison 6'0" | PG Houston | 2027 State TN (Houston) was offered by Mississippi State University. His older brother, 2023 State Champion Jordan Frison, signed with Pittsburg State (D2) out of high school and prior to this winter transferred to D1 Chattanooga. In his first college year Jordan earned MIAA Freshman of the Year and
All-MIAA Honorable Mention. As a sophomore, Jordan earned MIAA Player of the Year,
All-MIAA First Team, MIAA Player of the Week (2x, 2/10/25 & 2/24/25), NABC All, District First Team, D2CCA All-Region First Team.

It appears Justin Frison Justin Frison 6'0" | PG Houston | 2027 State TN will bypass that D2 path and ultimately sign D1 right out of high school. With @CourtneyHoops90's strong push behind Frison, we ranked Justin #1 in 2027 from the jump. He has worthy challengers for the crown but remains on top nearing the conclusion of his junior season.

The #2 player in 2027, Dylan Jones Dylan Jones 6'5" | SG Bartlett | 2027 State #39 Nation TN , also earned an offer from Mississippi State University. Bartlett's star wing left public schools for Tennessee Collegiate Academy in the early fall but thankfully returned to Bartlett High where he elevated his reputation nationally in the intervening months. Jones is worthy of a Mr. Basketball Finalist spot this winter. He narrowly missed out to teammate DJ Okoth DJ Okoth 6'7" | SF Bartlett | 2028 State #18 Nation TN though. Dylan also holds offers from Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Alabama among mid-major schools.

Mississippi State University offered Joshua Huggins Joshua Huggins 6'6" | SF Briarcrest Christian | 2028 State #38 Nation TN (Briarcrest Christian) this week too. Huggins is playing his first season with Briarcrest after playing his freshman year at Goodpasture just north of Nashville.

Huggins is our #1 player in 2028. He will eventually be offered by 25 schools at a minimum. His college choice is probably years away.

La Salle University offered three Bartlett players this week too. The program based in Philly offered Mr. Basketball Finalist DJ Okoth DJ Okoth 6'7" | SF Bartlett | 2028 State #18 Nation TN , Braylon Williams Braylon Williams 6'0" | PG Bartlett | 2028 State TN , and Dylan Jones Dylan Jones 6'5" | SG Bartlett | 2027 State #39 Nation TN .

Bartlett senior Amaury St. Ann Amaury St. Ann 6'4" | SF Bartlett | 2026 State TN earned an offer from Tennessee Valley Community College. Fellow Panther senior Sydney Thompson Sydney Thompson 5'9" | PG Bartlett | 2026 State TN signed with Pittsburg State, the same school Jordan Frison signed to out of high school.

Justin Nordin Justin Nordin 6'2" | PG Bearden | 2026 State TN (Bearden) signed with The Naval Academy. Justin is hoping his Bearden Bulldogs can advance to and win the State Tournament. They have a very real shot of making it to the Glass House where things get very tough immediately.
