[player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] - The six-foot-three-inch 2027 Lorenson continues to put up big scoring numbers with a good volume of shots for Lake City. Saturday he scored 37 points on 14 of 26 shooting versus Triton and also showed up on the boards grabbing 10 rebounds, and facilitated with 6 assists. Lorenson likes to get downhill and once he makes it into the paint, which is often, he has solid success.

https://twitter.com/lakecitybb/status/2020529693603086495

Pierce Petershon - Petershon the six-foot-five-inch 2026 senior Virginia Tech football commit who could've just relaxed this winter and just focused on joining Virginia Tech for football isn't. Petershon put up another 40 game with 41 points and 11 rebounds in a Triton win over Lake City while shooting 13 of 24 from the floor. Petershon is a strong athlete, runs the floor, and is super active all over.

Connor McDevitt - The six-foot-six-inch 2027 Burnsville forward scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds versus Bloomington Jefferson Saturday while also blocking 2 shots. McDevitt shot 7 of 12 on 3-pointers showing accuracy and volume. McDevitt made the majority of his 3-pointers stretching out and spotted up. A couple times he put the ball on the floor and drove hard and scored at the basket as well.

https://twitter.com/cmcdevitt326/status/2020549707781583091

[player_tooltip player_id='2877064' first='Carter' last='Brown'] - Brown is showing up to be a very consistent performer for Duluth Denfeld on the offensive end while also rebounding and having a presence on the defensive side of the floor. Against Bemidji after a 28 point performance versus Grand Rapids recently where he had 28 points on four 3-pointers he scored 29 points for Duluth Denfeld versus Bemidji including a huge mid-range jumper to force overtime for Denfeld. The six-foot-five-inch forward's improved ability to shoot the basketball along with his solid athleticism is making him a very intriguing prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2175436' first='Austin' last='Riewer'] - The six-foot-six-inch Riewer scored 16 points versus Duluth Denfeld Saturday. Riewer was big down the stretch for Bemidji in regulation and overtime with big 3-point makes late in the 2nd half and overtime to help Bemidji top Duluth Denfeld.

Cole Lesage - The six-foot 2029 Westonka guard scored 24 points for Westonka versus St. Anthony Saturday. Lesage showed off his ability to shoot from the perimeter making four 3-pointers in the game. He also rebounded his position with 5 boards and collected 2 steals.

Isaan Kitila - Second mention for Kitila this week as the six-foot-six-inch forward led St. Anthony passed Westonka with 24 points Saturday. Kitila also had a steal and a block showing his athleticism. The steal was while St. Anthony was in a full-court zone press and Kitila made a jump on the ball like a safety in football to catch and steal. The block Kitila held his own in the post and sent back the shot attempt from the opponent.

<iframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/21362994/6987d221660f2a8e246afdca' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen></iframe>

[player_tooltip player_id='2126118' first='Tyler' last='Forrest'] - Forrest led Chaska over St. Peter Saturday with a 17 point, 7 rebound, 3 assist and 1 block performance. One of my favorite abilities Forrest shows is blocking opponents shots and the way he does it. Forrest showed this good ability blocking a baseline drive from a St. Peter player. Forrest's improvement as a scorer this season is evident and he's been consistent, and a few games earlier he became Chaska's all-time assist leader.

[player_tooltip player_id='2841981' first='Jed' last='Keenan'] - Keenan getting another mention as his stellar 2nd half of the season play continues. The six-foot-five-inch freshman is making a run at Anoka Johnson for freshman of the year with a 17 point game Saturday. The 2029 freshman from Chaska hit three 3-pointers while shooting 7 of 11 overall while also grabbing 5 rebounds and blocking 2 shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815371' first='Owen' last='Potts'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2815228' first='Carter' last='Dale'] both scored 21 points for St. Peter versus Chaska. The 2027 six-foot-two-inch Potts showed an ability to make shots off one dribble from the perimeter as he knocked down two similar 3-point shots. Dale the 2026 senior was a little more proficient from the perimeter making four 3-pointers for St. Peter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404942' first='King' last='James'] - The six-foot-six-inch 2027 junior from Hiawatha and playing Minnesota Gold this spring and summer James scored 21 points in their Saturday win. This comes after James scored 28 versus Hope Academy Tuesday, 21 points versus Spectrum Thursday, and 30 on 15 of 19 shooting Friday versus Avail Academy while also grabbing 9 rebounds and handing out 11 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2728383' first='Damarion' last='Moss'] - The 2026 six-foot-two-inch Detroit Lakes guard scored 24 points Saturday. Moss can play with or without the ball at the guard position alternating between lead and secondary ball handler. Off the ball he does well in spot-up and catch and shoot chances. A recent week in 3 wins for the Lakers Moss scored 75 points, handed out 12 assists, and had 15 rebounds while collecting 10 steals.

Sartell Sabers' players [player_tooltip player_id='1560795' first='Maddox' last='Lewis'] and Karson Lewis (no relation) combined for 48 points in Sartell's win over Detroit Lakes with Maddox leading the way with 27. Against Alexandria Thursday Maddox scored 24 while Karson had 14. In the Alexandria game Maddox showed off his 3-point shooting ability making five 3-pointers. The 2027 Karson Lewis has been showing his 3-point shooting prowess with four 3's versus Alexandria.

Gavyn Lorenson Gavyn Lorenson Gavyn Lorenson 6'5" | SF Lake City | 2027 State MN - The six-foot-three-inch 2027 Lorenson continues to put up big scoring numbers with a good volume of shots for Lake City. Saturday he scored 37 points on 14 of 26 shooting versus Triton and also showed up on the boards grabbing 10 rebounds, and facilitated with 6 assists. Lorenson likes to get downhill and once he makes it into the paint, which is often, he has solid success.
