PV ended up winning a tight one 67-61 in their region battle and beat them the first time around 58-55.

Here were some standouts

All stats are official via Maxpreps

[player_tooltip player_id='2949469' first='Zane' last='Graham'] Paradise Valley (Pictured)

The star of this game was the youngest with Graham at 24 points. He is a long and leaner guard/wing who is just scratching the surface. He shoots it well from the three point line off the catch but will also make off balanced tough shots with contact with his long strides to the basket. He is also long in the passing lanes and could be a 3 and D type long term.

[player_tooltip player_id='2423061' first='King' last='Fields'] Paradise Valley

A transfer from Pinnacle who is fitting in well with the Trojans. He gives them someone who can handle the ball and make a play or score. He has a quick first step to get to the basket with either hand and will smartly use the floater game. He is crafty to get himself to the FT line and finished with 12 points and 3 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='3028737' first='Aymen' last='Salti'] Paradise Valley

A kind of a breakout performance for the sophomore. He is a stronger wing forward with skill from inside and out. He scores with and-1's around the basket, he will shoot it with turnarounds from mid-range and hit the three off the catch. He uses his stronger frame to rebound. He finished with 12 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2292818' first='O'mari' last='Gilbert'] Paradise Valley

An athletic power forward did not play heavy minutes as he went down for a quarter with an ankle injury. He scored it efficiently in the paint with hook shots, rolls to the basket and offensive rebound put backs. He gives the team some interior defense and runs the floor. He scored 6 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552784' first='Emir' last='Konicanin'] Paradise Valley

Another thicker framed forward who is tough and skilled. He will attack towards the basket and will get downhill with reverse layups, rip thus and he will carve out space to grab rebounds in and out of his area. He is also a sneaky good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466706' first='Mehki' last='Storkel'] Desert Edge

One of the top performers for the Scorpions with 20 points and 7 rebounds. He had it rolling with mid-range pull-ups, threes off the catch with a quicker trigger (3 of them), multiple euro steps and dominated the glass with his frame and size for a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2772557' first='Jude' last='Ramirez'] Desert Edge

The other top performer for the West Valley team was Ramirez with an almost identical stat line of 20 points and 6 rebounds. He scores it with threes off the catch (4), pull-ups from mid-range to the three point line, he can crossover his defender to the basket and he is really a good one on one scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2533594' first='CJ' last='Johnson'] Desert Edge

An athletic scoring point guard was unfortunately in foul trouble all night long. He played maybe two real quarters of basketball but was productive when he played. He is a very good passer perfectly timing his assists to his teammates with next level court vision. He scores it with floaters, tear drops and driving layups. He scored 7 points with 2 assists in very limited minutes.
