Ray vs Velva: Game And Player Notes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Velva Aggies 9-7 came to town to take on the #3 Ranked 15-1 Ray Jays in a Region 3 matchup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This game was played at a fast and furious pace just the way both teams like to play. Velva came out hot and aggressive from the start on both ends of the floor and took it to ray the first handful of minutes, but then ray settled in and got there game going. After the first few minutes no team lead by more than just a few in the first half as both teams went back and forth matching scores. Each team had atleast 5 players score in the first half. Ray had a two point lead heading into the halftime break.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Second half started off a bit slower then the first half but quickly heated up as ray had a big quarter scoring 24 points and holding Aggies to 13.
