Prep Hoops Illinois Player of the Year Finalists

We are coming down the stretch for the high school basketball season with just a little over a week left in the regular season.  With that being said it is time to unveil the finalists for the 2026 Prep Hoops Illinois Player of the Year Award!

Jaxson Davis Jaxson Davis 6'1" | PG Warren Township | 2027 State #49 Nation IL (Warren)

Davis has been fantastic in every single big game his team has played all year.  The preseason favorite has stepped up to every challenge and recently scored his 2,000 career point.

Lincoln Williams Lincoln Williams 6'5" | SF Kankakee | 2026 State #128 Nation IL (Kankakee)

Williams is living up to his status as the #1 player in the senior class.  Put together a consistent year for the Kays leading them to being one of the premier teams in the state and a 3A title contender.

Jayden Wright Jayden Wright 5'11" | PG Benet | 2026 State IL (Benet)

Wright has been the heart and soul of Benet this season.  The point guard won the AC Williamson Award at Pontiac.  He has been excellent as a passer and scorer for the state's top team.

Rykan Woo Rykan Woo 6'1" | PG/SG DePaul College Prep | 2026 State IL (DePaul Prep)

Woo makes everything go for DePaul Prep.  He is a high IQ lead guard works so well in ball screen situations getting others involved with his passing while always stepping up for the big soft touch finish or pull up jumper.

Jamison White Jamison White 6'7" | SF East St. Louis | 2026 State #162 Nation IL (East St. Louis)

White has had a dominant season for the Flyers.  The Penn State commit is posting double doubles on a regular basis for the top team in southern Illinois.  Brings physicality and production!

Justin Oliver Justin Oliver 5'11" | PG Curie | 2026 State IL (Curie)

Oliver has been the go to player for the best team in the Chicago Public League all season long.  The senior guard is a microwave scorer that can heat up at any given moment with his skilled offensive game.

Marquis Clark Marquis Clark 6'1" | PG Whitney Young | 2026 State #165 Nation IL (Whitney Young)

Clark recently became the all-time leading scorer in Whitney Young history.  Tennessee commit has carried a young Dolphins squad all season with his consistency and leadership!

Cole Kelly Cole Kelly 6'6" | SF Neuqua Valley | 2028 State #14 Nation IL (Neuqua Valley)

Kelly has had a massive season as a sophomore!  Elevated the play of his team to new heights with his scoring, rebounding, and passing.  Elite 2028 prospect that's best basketball is ahead of him.
