Backus is listed here as a PF, but I'd consider him a versatile perimeter player that can score from all over the floor. Caledonia earned a huge 59-55 win against an excellent Benton Harbor team. Backus paced his squad with a team high 14 points.

Favors continued his outstanding senior season. He led his Niles team to a win against Vicksburg by a score of 70-56. Favors dominated the action on the offensive end scoring 27 points on the night. His ability to score inside and out makes him such a tough matchup.

Paul and his game made a loud statement last night. He led his Forest Hills Central team to an exciting 89-81 win against Ottawa Hills. Paul finished with a game high 32 points. He grooved his dangerous jumper, hitting 7 triples in the game. This isn't the first and won't be the last time that Paul catches fire from beyond the arc.

Rockford pulled out a 67-65 win against a tough West Ottawa team that showed up ready to play. Gross drew a foul on 3 point attempt with a second and half left. He buried 2 of the free throws to secure the win and bring his point total to 10. Gross has proven to be a clutch scorer, as this is the second time this season that he's come up with a game winner.

Hureskin's Ottawa Hills team was defeated by Forest Hills Central by a score of 89-81. In a hard fought loss, Hureskin stepped up and showed off his game. He finished the night with an eye-popping 30 points. Hureskin is at his best when playing aggressive down hill basketball.
