Favors helped his Niles team pick up a hard fought 65-61 win against St. Joseph. There’s some coaches that REALLY like his game and it’s easy to see why. He has a next level frame that he can use on both ends of the floor. Favors finished this game with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.

Favors is a player that I became very familiar with this summer. He’s a powerful guard that’s willing to play with hustle on both ends of the floor. Favors is a versatile defender that can guard multiple positions and spots on the floor more than effectively. He’s comfortable in the open floor as well.

Favors recently received an offer from Albion College. This is a player that I saw a lot from spring through fall and I really like what he has to offer. Favors is a big and strong guard. He can play a power wing game and bully defenders. But Favors is also athletic and can play above the rim in the open floor.

– Plays off screen going left and turns it into a mid range jumper from the top —- seems to really understand how to play off screen and thrives when doing it. Can play as the ball handler or the screener.

Favors and his jumper were basically dangerous from anywhere on the floor. I saw him hit shots from corner 3’s to free throw line mid range jumpers.

is. Well, I got to see it again on Saturday. He can hoop. It’s that simple. Favors has a next level frame and the ability to attack and score from basically anywhere on the floor. He can handle at a high level and the very next possession, set on the block and post his man. Favors showed range on his jumper with a triple and showed that he could hit a moving target with a pass.

Favors is an extremely high upside prospect. He can play the game effectively at any speed – I saw it multiple times this summer. Even coached against his game speed and feel. Favors has a next level frame to go with it. I really feel like he’s going to be a steal at the next level.

We’ve seen Favors dominate the open floor in fast paced games this spring. This weekend we saw him dominate a slower paced game with his strength and versatility. Favors was really strong on the glass, probably averaging around 6-7 boards a game. He also fed teammates and was patient and efficient with the ball in his hands.
