The OHSAA Basketball playoff draw is this today for Division I and Division II teams which makes today the perfect day to release our final in season rankings of both Division's. In this article we'll take a look at the top 10 Division II teams.

1. Westerville North (20-1)

The Warriors went to Lima Senior and took care of the second ranked Spartans on the road, cementing their status as the state title favorites heading into Sunday's draw that is uneventful for them, as they know exactly who will be sharing a region with them. It would require a major upset not to see Westerville North in the final four at this stage.

2. Lima Sr (18-3)

The Spartans have taken some competitive losses without [player_tooltip player_id='2140877' first='Shawn' last='Foster'] but a blowout victory over Lima Central Catholic when junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2347406' first='Noah' last='Simpson'] had a career night shows the Spartans can still reach peak performance when shorthanded.

3. Massillon Washington (20-1)

The Tigers have had some close calls recently Vs Lake, ISA and GlenOak, beating each by single digits after a season defining win over rival Canton McKinley. With one game left in the regular season, the Tigers could break a school record for wins in a season.

4. Cincinnati Winton Woods (19-1)

An overtime loss Vs Indy Cathedral is the only thing between Winton Woods and an unbeaten season. I will be curious to see how they fare at home Vs Centerville on Tuesday, their last regular season contest. It's a battle between the ECC and GWOC champions.

5. Toledo St John's (17-5)

The Titans are coming off winning the Detroit Catholic League tournament and beating top Division I program Saint Edward. Besides Westerville North, no team in Division II is playing better basketball than the Titans right now.

6. Brecksville-Broadview Heights (20-1)

The Bees took a tough one at home Vs Nordonia early in February but they've bounced back with wins over North Royalton, East Tech, Gilmour and Medina Highland before their regular season wraps up Vs John Marshall. Expect the Bees to be a contender in whatever northeast region they pick.

7. North Canton Hoover (15-7)

The Vikings won in overtime on Saturday over Archbishop Hoban thanks to a 3-pointer by [player_tooltip player_id='2371442' first='Hunter' last='Hershberger'] at the regulation buzzer. I'm not sure how many teams in all of Ohio have played a tougher schedule than the Vikings since January 31st, games against Bishop Hartley, Garfield Heights, Canton McKinley and Archbishop Hoban are all great pre-tournament tests.

8. Euclid (14-8)

The Panthers are on a two-game skid but their six-game win streak in January that included games against Medina, Cleveland Heights, Mentor and Reynoldsburg shows this team can beat the best when they play their best.

9. Toledo St Francis (12-9)

Another team limping to the finish of the regular season, recent wins over Start and Scott out of the Toledo City League could be what the Knights need to kickstart a playoff push after a brutal regular season schedule.

10. Licking Heights (17-4)

The Hornets have lost just once since the calendar flipped to 2026 and that was in overtime Vs rival Watkins Memorial. Could they give Westerville North a competitive game if they meet in the regional playoffs?

Watchlist (By Region)

Cincinnati Aiken (11-11)

Clayton Northmont (14-8)

New Albany (13-8)

Big Walnut (13-9)

North Royalton (16-5)

Olmsted Falls (15-7)

Hudson (15-6)

Avon (16-6)
