He controlled the game not only by his scoring but also by his defense as he had several steals leading to easy transition baskets for himself or for teammates. Still had a couple nice strong finishes at the rim. Sophomore does a nice job of letting the game come to him and taking what the defense gives him. Scored on a hard baseline drive on an up and under. Had a beautiful left hand finish on a reverse layup off of an OB Play. Couple blocks shots in a game is nothing new as his size and length changes the opposing offense just by him being in the game. Had two nice power drop step finishes for scores. Did a nice job of controlling the game for his team with his ball handling/decision making and shot making. His size is a matchup nightmare for most teams as hes too big and long for majority of guards if he posts up and too quick for all but the elite 4 and 5 men to guard him on the perimeter. Defensively he was aggressive and offensively he was in attack mode as he continually tried to get to the basket causing the groton defenders to foul him as a result.
