The Case for the Knights:

In the Power Score Top 3 Games again this week, Kuemper came out not only victorious, but absolutely dominant over St. Albert on Tuesday night, defeating the Falcons 93-64 at the Casey's Center. A preview of what's to come in March in Des Moines, maybe?

The Knights have yet to lose to a single 2A opponent so far this season, and they've earned 30 and 40-point wins over regional 3A programs, a massive six-point victory over 3A state title Storm Lake on the road and a win over 4A Lewis Central. Seeking redemption after falling just shy of the state tournament last winter, Kuemper is rolling -- even without arguably their best player, [player_tooltip player_id='1765503' first='Brock' last='Badding'], who's been out with injury.

Led by 6-foot-5 forward, [player_tooltip player_id='1765513' first='Ryan' last='Clair'], the Knights have one of the more formidable squads in the state. Clair, a senior, is averaging a team-leading 17.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while shooting a seemingly unguardable 63.5% from the field. That, and he can step out and shoot it, shooting 38.5% from three so far this season, too. The tallest player in the rotation, Clair has been critical in the winning efforts so far this season.

Up next in scoring is multi-sport star, [player_tooltip player_id='2420798' first='Griffin' last='Glynn'], who doubled this year as the leading rusher for the Knights on the gridiron en route to the 2A state football championship. The junior guard is putting up 15.9 points and four rebounds per game while on fire from three, making 46.2% of his triples on over 90 attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420805' first='Dylan' last='Schon'] is third in the active scoring efforts for the Knights, as the junior is averaging 12.2 points (shooting 58.1% from the field), 6.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.5 steals per game. An apparent X-factor for Kuemper in the run to Des Moines, Schon has also posted an excellent assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.56 -- the best among the rotation.

Lastly, it's [player_tooltip player_id='2519974' first='Jack' last='Badding'], another senior guard, who's averaging 10 points and five assists per game.
