2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731702' first='Nolan' last='Guzman'] (Fort Madison) – 51 points (20-36 FG, 4-8 3P, 7-9 FT), 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals [vs. Keokuk]   A 6-3 wing, Guzman saved his best high school performance for late in his senior year, dropping 51 points against conference rival Keokuk, and putting up a double-double, to boot. He showed that he can score from anywhere on the floor as well as impact the game on the defensive end.   2026 C [player_tooltip player_id='2413531' first='Cael' last='LaFrentz'] (Decorah) – 41 points (18-27 FG, 0-1 3P, 5-11 FT), 20 rebounds (13 offensive), 4 blocks [at Charles City]   The 6-11 big man was dominant against an undersized Charles City team, controlling the offensive glass which undoubtedly led to many of those 41 points that he dropped. 20-20 games are rare enough, LaFrentz put up a 40-20.   2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2231637' first='Lincoln' last='Norris'] (Knoxville) – 39 points (12-23 FG, 9-16 3P, 6-10 FT), 6 rebounds, 4 steals [vs. Oskaloosa]   One of the state's elite shooters, Norris once again showcased why he, and Knoxville, are so dangerous by burying nine 3-pointers in a nice win over Oskaloosa. He has unlimited range, a quick release, and never-ending confidence.   2028 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2772340' first='Kylen' last='Vander Schaaf'] (Sergeant Bluff-Luton) – 34 points (12-19 FG, 5-9 3P, 5-5 FT), 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals [at Cherokee]   A high IQ guard who is capable of getting scorching hot and carrying his team for stretches, Vander Schaaf did just that against Cherokee, dropping 34 points on just 19 shots and posting a double-double. He's a really skilled shooter who can bury shots routinely off both the dribble and the catch.   2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2481793' first='Rhett' last='Driskell'] (Creston) – 30 points (12-19 FG, 4-6 3P, 2-4 FT), 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals [at Kuemper Catholic]   Creston was dominated by Kuemper Catholic (who isn't lately?), but Driskell was a real bright spot, scoring 30 points and doing so in a variety of different ways. He's a talented three-level scoring threat who can create quality looks for himself and his teammates.   2027 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2419855' first='Brayden' last='Tanny'] (Wahlert Catholic) – 29 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3P, 6-9 FT), 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals [vs. Waterloo West]   A strong, skilled 6-6/6-7 combo forward, Tanny can score inside and out, showing deft touch around the rim with either hand as well as the ability to step out and space the floor. He has good vision out of the post and high post, finding open teammates for good looks.   2027 SG Joseph Delgado (West Liberty) – 28 points (8-14 FG, 5-9 3P, 7-12 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal [vs. Anamosa]   West Liberty and Anamosa played a 93-87 overtime thriller, and Delgado was one of many standouts from that barnburner, scoring a season-high 28 points. He can shoot it well from the 3-point line off both the dribble and the catch, and did a nice job using his jumper to open up the rest of his arsenal.   2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2413616' first='Gavin' last='McLaren'] (Atlantic) – 28 points (11-18 FG, 2-5 3P, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds [at Harlan]   The 6-1 wing put up a double-double in a loss to Harlan. He was really efficient, shooting 61% from the floor and using his footwork and frame to get to his spots in the mid-range for good looks.
