A lengthy wing who can play downhill and get to the rim off the bounce, McLaren led the Trojans in scoring as a junior, putting up 12.9 points per game to go with a team-high 6.0 rebounds. He’s a strong finisher at the rim, good in the mid-range, and can defend multiple positions.
McLaren is a young wing who could really take off over the next year. He has good size and length on the wing, is a versatile three-level scorer, and will have a ton of opportunity this winter following the graduation of a 27-point scorer. McLaren himself averaging 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists a game on 48% shooting as a sophomore.
