2028 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2595605' first='MarQwan' last='Morgan'] (Davenport North) -- 37 points (13-28 FG, 7-16 3P, 4-4 FT), 1 rebound, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Bettendorf]

The top-ranked sophomore in the state put in a ton of work on his jumper during the summer between his freshman and sophomore years, and that work has paid off, as he showed against a stout Bulldogs defense. The talented 2028 dropped 37 points and buried seven 3s in the process, doing so in a variety of different ways.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='3255094' first='Eduardo' last='Frazier'] (Sioux City West) -- 31 points (10-17 FG, 2-4 3P, 9-10 FT), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals [at Sioux City North]

Sioux City West is having their best season in quite a while, having already more than doubled the wins they had in the previous two seasons combined, and Frazier is a big part of that improvement. A 6-1 guard who can play on or off the ball, he scores in a multitude of ways and was able to get to the free-throw line routinely against North.

2028 SF Evan Hefel (Hempstead) -- 29 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3P, 11-16 FT), 3 rebounds, 2 assists [vs. Cedar Rapids Jefferson]

Hefel was great for the Mustangs in their win over the J-Hawks, their first of the season. He was excellent at the line to help ice the game away and showed the ability to score from anywhere on the floor.

2027 SG Adom Kwakye (Des Moines Lincoln) -- 27 points (9-16 FG, 5-11 3P, 4-5 FT), 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 steals [at Hoover]

A quick 5-11 guard, Kwakye shot over 50%, buried five 3s, and helped lead the Railsplitters to a big rivalry win over Hoover last week. Lincoln has been playing pretty good basketball of late, and Kwakye is a big reason why.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1978101' first='Quentin' last='Teeter'] (Urbandale) -- 26 points (9-15 FG, 6-10 3P, 2-7 FT), 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal [vs. Johnston]

A long, lanky 6-4/6-5 wing who can score from all three levels, Teeter was excellent against a stout Dragons defense, using his size advantage to shoot over defenders and compete on the glass on both ends of the floor.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2419793' first='Mack' last='Heitland'] (Waukee Northwest) -- 26 points (8-13 FG, 8-13 3P, 2-3 FT), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Urbandale]

One of the state's elite shooting threats, Heitland was scorching hot against Urbandale, burying eight 3-pointers, all in the first half. When he gets it rolling like he did against the J-Hawks, he's tough to slow down, and he's even tougher to stop given the number of weapons around him.

2026 PF Marshall Johnson (Clinton) -- 15 points (6-11 FG, 1-5 3P, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds [at North Scott]

Clinton has won just two games this season, and didn't add to their total here, but the River Kings have been much, much more competitive than they have been in recent years, and the 6-6 Johnson is a big reason why. He was great against the Lancers, putting up 15 and 15.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1978137' first='Greg' last='Ford'] (Iowa City West) -- 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3P, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals [vs. Liberty]

Now that he's healthy and in the Trojans lineup, Ford has been able to showcase his all-around talents, like he did against crosstown rival Liberty last Friday night. An athletic, quick 5-11 guard, he plays bigger than his listed size with his bounce and aggressiveness on the glass.

2028 PG MarQwan Morgan MarQwan Morgan MarQwan Morgan 6'3" | PG/SG Davenport North | 2028 State IA (Davenport North) -- 37 points (13-28 FG, 7-16 3P, 4-4 FT), 1 rebound, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Bettendorf]
