He makes you work for it on defense, doesn't let you turn the corner often.</p>

He's an improving playmaking guard, makes the right decision, gets buckets when needed.</p>

He takes care of the ball, keeps his dribble live, shows patience up top, with ball movement. He's a pass first type, shows quality handles, penetrates the paint, dishes. or kicking it out to open shooters. He knocks down floaters, paint jumpers, hits mid-range jumpers, can knock down open 3's. </p>

He's playing with confidence, actively looking to put points on the board within the flow of the offense. He's taking, and making mid-range, and 3-points shots with good release and lift, sometimes off the dribble. At 6'4 he's sprinting the court, going strong to the basket. His rebounding and defensive effort is improved. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1826998' first='Xavier' last='Barnett']: He's one of the consistent, and experienced guards in NorCal. He effectively runs the team offense, quality handles, passing and decision making, he get buckets too with a good FG%. He's difficulty to contain with ball in hand, can breakdown a defender, gets into the paint often, for contact finishes, paint jumpers. He's a rebounding guard. 15.2pts, 6.5rebs, 4.5s, 2.3 stl according to (Stat). His ability to defend might get overlooked because of the other things he does on the court. </p>

He finds open spots, shot ready, good form not much hesitation on the catch and shoot. They run set plays, and screens to free him up. He's grown a few inches, standing 6'4, with lengthy arms. His rebounding numbers are up, improved handles, he's moving his feet on defense. 18pts, 5.3rebs.</p>

His productivity against quality WCAL competition shows he's raised his overall game as a playmaking guard. He's been explosive off the dribble, using body and balance to get buckets around the rim from different angles, top, sides, baseline, and transition. He's had a couple of explosive second half games where he's taken it up a notch in the scoring department. He dropped 33pts a couple of days ago. He works both sides of the ball.</p>

He's has the handles, body and balance to get to the basket. He'll pass up, and around the court. He has range to hit 3's, can hit the short jumper. He'll post up, get aggressive looking for paint points.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2197849' first='Jacob' last='Sutton']: He's an experienced Senior, runs the point guard position, but has shown himself to be aggressive at times looking to put points on the board at any given stretch of a game. He can be hard to keep out of the paint. He's strong has leverage, quality handles, sees the court, can find his mates with quality passing. He's hard to contain in transition. He can appy ball pressure. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2724358' first='Ryan' last='Rice']: A hard playing guard, doesn't mind scrapping for loose ball, gets on the floor, saves balls from going out of bounds. He runs in transition both ways, for a layups, or to contest one. He can handle a bit, but works mostly odd ball looking to shoot open 3's or make the extra pass. He gives good effort defending, and rebounding for a guard.</p>

<p><strong>Shawn Boquiren</strong> : He's a skilled ball handler has speed, and change of direction putting pressure on defenders from different angles. He'll split defenders, use a burst to get into the paint. He has court vision to deliver passes into the post, around the perimeter. He's also a good shooter from the 3-point line, knocks down mid-range jumpers off the dribble, can float it in.</p>

He's worked hard on the defensive side of the ball, he's getting his fare share of rebounds, he's running the court with purpose. He's had success shooting 3-pointers this season. </p>
